Arnav and Khushi sat in the quiet garden of the mansion, gazing at the stars.

They have come a long way in the last eighteen years, filled with misunderstanding, hurt, pain, joy, wealth, prosperity, and children they never imagined they would have, but at this delicate time, they both have some regrets about past actions that influenced their decisions, which have now caused a major problem in the family.

They knew tomorrow would not be easy, especially given what would be revealed to Naina.

"Maybe if I had not avoided Naina as a child, Anjali would not have wielded so much power over her." Arnav exclaimed regretfully as he lay on the grass with Khushi.

Khushi rose from the mat and sat down, staring at Arnav.

"You were just scared Anjali will take advantage of your relationship with Naina and pull you back into her web...... And besides there was no guarantee that it wouldn't have happened knowing the kind of person Anjali is....... Look at her history, she is not a good person and she is now associated with a criminal and I won't be surprised if she end up being into the drug trade..... You are not responsible for anything.... Naina is not a child who is incapable of distinguishing between right and wrong...... Yes, it was wrong of us to exclude her at first, but look what happened when we started including her: she bullied Kiki, and Lulu always stood up for Kiki, but instead of seeing a mistake, she claims we are biased just like we were against her mother...... I just hope she realises her mistakes before it is too late, because Siddharth appears to be fed up."

Arnav jerked up upon hearing her final sentence.

"You noticed it, too?" Khushi nodded in response to Arnav's question.

"There is only so much a person can take, and he has finally found a woman who loves and cherishes him, but Naina is making their relationship impossible by constantly antagonizing Anita every time they meet, and she has even taken it to social media, stalking and trolling Anita on every picture she posts......... Sheetal told me a few days ago that Mr Singhania is unhappy with Siddharth's inability to control Naina and has given him an ultimatum: give up Naina's custody to Anjali and choose Anita, or leave Anita alone....... Anita reacted angrily when she learned of her father's condition, and for the first time, father and daughter fought, and they are no longer speaking...... Not only that, but Anita warned Siddharth that if he gave up on Naina, she would leave him."

The revelation shocked Arnav, who realised Naina's situation was far worse than he had imagined.

"All of this is too complicated, and no matter what happens, even if Naina breaks free from Anjali, I doubt her relationship with Siddharth will be easily repaired...... The man has gone through hell and is barely hanging on........ It is difficult having a child born from rape, but seeing that child actively choose your rapist over you is painful...... Arnav said, and Khushi nodded, praying that their plan to expose Anjali will open Naina's eyes to the type of person she is.
