Beyoncé sat in the middle of the crowded theater, her heart pounding in anticipation. She adjusted her wide-brimmed hat and oversized sunglasses for the hundredth time, fully aware that her so-called "disguise" wasn't fooling anyone. It was ridiculous, but she couldn't bring herself to care. All that mattered was that in just a few moments, she'd see her again.

The lights dimmed, and a hush fell over the audience as the show began. Beyoncé's breath hitched when the first notes played, and then, there she was: Michelle. Dressed in a stunning purple dress that shimmered under the stage lights, she looked every bit the star Beyoncé always knew she was.

The sight hit Beyoncé harder than she expected. Her chest tightened, and she gripped the arms of her seat, struggling to keep her composure. It had been too long since she'd seen that face, the face she'd dreamt about, missed desperately, and regretted losing.

When Michelle opened her mouth and began to sing, Beyoncé felt the air leave her lungs. Her voice was as beautiful and soulful as ever, and it wrapped around her like a warm embrace. Beyoncé's eyes burned, but she blinked the tears away, unwilling to miss even a second. She sat there, utterly captivated, the rest of the world fading into nothing.

As the number ended, Beyoncé couldn't hold back her pride and excitement. She cheered loudly, clapping with fervor that made everyone around her turn to stare. She gave them a pointed look, daring anyone to say something, but before she could open her mouth, Tina leaned over and gave her a firm look.

"Behave," her mother whispered, and Beyoncé huffed, sinking back into her seat.

The show continued, and Beyoncé couldn't stop smiling. She laughed at every joke, clapped enthusiastically after each number, and barely took her eyes off the stage. The only time she looked away was to glare at someone behind her who was loudly opening a bag of chips. She silenced them with a sharp look before quickly turning back to the stage.

By Michelle's second number, Beyoncé thought she couldn't possibly be happier. But then it happened—Michelle saw her.

Their eyes locked, and the world seemed to stop. It felt like years had passed since they'd last looked at each other like this, and for a moment, Beyoncé forgot to breathe. There was something electric in the connection, a mix of surprise, longing, and something else she couldn't quite place.

Beyoncé's heart raced as she turned to Kelly, grabbing her arm. "She saw me," she whispered, her voice urgent.

"Be quiet," Kelly muttered, not even glancing at her.

"No, I'm serious. She saw me," Beyoncé repeated, her voice louder this time.

Tina leaned over and placed a hand on Beyoncé's arm, her stern look silencing her. Beyoncé sank back into her seat again, biting her lip to keep from saying anything else.

For the rest of the show, Beyoncé could barely focus. Her mind was spinning, replaying that brief moment over and over again. Michelle had seen her and she didn't run. Well, its not like she could but Beyoncé still took it as a win.

Finally, the show ended, and the audience erupted into applause. Beyoncé didn't give Kelly or Tina a chance to join in. She grabbed them both by the arms and quickly ushered them out of their seats, navigating through the crowd with single-minded determination.

"Beyoncé, what are you doing?" Kelly whispered, trying to keep up.

"We're going backstage," Beyoncé said, her tone leaving no room for argument.

Tina sighed but followed without protest, and Kelly rolled her eyes. Beyoncé didn't care. All that mattered now was seeing Michelle again—up close, this time. There were things she needed to say, things she needed to fix. And she wasn't leaving until she did.
