Rainy day

As me and Chris was laying down on his bed cuddled up under his blanket. We watched (name of a movie) as it rained outside. I was slowly drifting off to sleep when Chris spoke up quietly enough that I could barely hear him.

"You wanna go outside and play in the rain?"

I looked up at him like he was crazy

"Chris.. It is raining outside and we're gonna get sick"

He shrugged his shoulders with a soft smile on his face.

"So.. If we do I'll take care of you"

As we stared at each other I was thinking about if I wanted to or not. As I was about to reply he tilted his head, rising his eyebrows as well. I then softly smiled at him nodding my head.

"Yea we can, why not"

I said sitting up and getting out of bed to grab some shoes. Once I grabbed my shoes I walked back over to his bed sitting down. Putting my shoes on Chris came over to me kissing my forehead. Once done I stood up grabbing ahold of Chris's hand.

"you ready?"

I then nodded my head and we heading outside. We stood on the porch for a minute looking out into the rain. Chris then let go of my hand and took off into the rain. As he did so I couldn't help but laughed at him.

"y/n what are you waiting for come on"

He said loud enough for me to hear and waving his hands frantically. I waited a second longer before taking off towards him. As we played out in the rain what we didn't realize was that Marylou and Jimmy were at the window watching us while taking some videos/pictures.

After about 30 more minutes of playing we decided to head back into the house.  We stepped in the house trying to be quiet in case anybody was sleeping. We then headed down to his room to change. Then I realized I didn't have any clothes with me.

"Chris"

He then turned around to look at me

"I don't have any clothes here, could I borrow some?"

He nodded his head walking over to his closet.

" Of course you can. You don't have to ask to borrow clothes"

I then smiled at him. As he dug around to find some clothes for us I took my shoes, hoodie, and socks off setting them down on the floor.

Chris then walked out handing me some clothes and I headed to the bathroom shutting his door on the way out.

Getting changed I grabbed my wet clothes and walked back to his room. I seen that the door was open letting me know he was done changing. I walked in shutting the door behind me and set my clothes in his hamper.

As I was walking over to his bed Chris opened his arms. Sliding into his arms he threw the blanket over us. Turning on another movie we both drifted off to sleep as the movie played softly.
