It was a chilly winter evening when the sudden rain started. Vriti stood near the terrace railing, gazing at the city lights shimmering through the misty rain. The droplets clung to her hair and face, glistening under the faint glow of the terrace lights.

"You're going to catch a cold, Vriti," rudransh said  holding an umbrella.

"It's just a little rain rudra " she said with a mischievous smile.

He sighed and walked over, opening the umbrella above her.

"Why do you always have to act stubborn?"

"I could ask you the same rudra " she shot back playfully, stepping away from the umbrella.

Before he could protest, Vriti grabbed his hand and pulled him into the rain. The cold droplets hit Rudransh's face, but all he could see was Vriti, laughing as she spun around carefree.

"You are impossible " he muttered, though a smile tugged at his lips.

"Admit it .. you love it."

"Not as much as I love you " he said unexpectedly, his voice low but firm.

Her laughter faded, and she stared at him, heart racing it's not like she doesn't know he loves her but every time it feels different. The rain blurred the world around them, but nothing could break the intensity of the moment. Rudransh took a step closer, water dripping from his hair.

"I mean it, Vriti. You drive me crazy, but I wouldn't want it any other way."

"I love you too, Rudransh " she whispered as rain dropped mingled with her tears.

He smiled, pulling her into his arms. Their lips met in a deep, passionate kiss, the rain soaking them completely. The city faded away , it was just them, lost in a beautiful, unforgettable moment.

The bookstore café buzzed with quiet chatter and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Siddhi flipped through the pages of a romance novel, her eyes occasionally drifting to Vrishank, who sat across from her, engrossed in a business article on his tablet.
