Jessica woke up and prepared to do what she had to get Trey to know she liked him.

Trey woke happier than usual and decided to leave his hair in the way he did the day before but where a much less appealing outfit.

"I wonder what was wrong with Jessica yesterday?" He wondered as he walked out of the house.

"I hope she's ok, she seemed really upset, I'll walk with her that way it can be my chance to ask her out." He says to himself.

As he approached her house, the front door swung open as Jessica walked out looking like a hoodgirl. She wore a snapback and a black jordan hoodie with black tights cut at her ankle and wearing some Jordan's witch was the only part about that was normal because she loves Jordan's and heels. Trey suddenly didnt want to walk with Jessica but he had already stopped to wait on her so he decided not to speak as they walked. She approached him as usual but with a depressed tone.

"Hey T." She dragged

"Uhm hey.. Jessica, I think." He said nervously.

They started walking and it was silent and awkward until Jessica broke the silence.

"Trey... C-can I tell you something?" She walked a little slower giving her time to word the question.

"Uhm sure." He responded

She waited for the right moment and went for it.

"I really really like you Trey." She said really fast.

Trey stopped walking not knowing what to say.

Finally he said. "Cool."

She was shocked at his composure she thought he would be happier. On the outside he showed no emotion, but on the inside he was having a party, he just didnt know how to express himself to her without creeping her out.

"Sooo that's it." She asked dissappointed standing with her head down.

He see's that she is disappointed and he goes for it.

"Uh Jessica.." Catching her offguard he kisses her and she runs back home. Trey stands in defeat not knowing what he did wrong. He walks to school as usual.

Jessica gets home and goes to her room and immediately changes her clothes. She's happy that Trey kissed her but the more and more she thinks about it she wants more than a kiss, more than a friendship with Trey but she doesnt know how to tell him. She hurries to school and tries to find Trey before class starts but it's too late, she see's him in the middle of a group of girls absorbing attention. She soaks up what happened earlier and realizes she left him hanging after the kiss. She feels defeated and doesn't speak for awhile.

A couple of weeks go by and Trey eventually cuts his hair and looses the some attention but not all of it.. Summertime rolls around and Trey still doesn't have a job because he's depending on academics to get him into college not money. Overtime Jessica eventually becomes social again but it's not what everyone is used to. She's become something she never wanted to be.
