Døñ't Rüñ Åwäÿ

I had just gotten out of the shower and was getting ready for school. I applied cherry red lipstick to my plump lips and curled my blonde hair. I slipped on my pink and black half shirt that had the word 'OBEY' bolded in pink and slipped on my pink and white Jordans. I put on my belly ring and my pink flag as I folded it and wrapped it around my head.

Oh hey, I'm Destiney Summers. Your average 16 year old going to school in Longbeach, CA. I live in a huge house on the beach with my step dad, Chris , and my Mom , Lauren. Where's my real dad? I don't know. He's alive though...I use to live with him...until..the tragedy that happened 4 years ago when I was 12....

*****FLASHBACK*****

I was doing my chores when my evil step mom , Trina , bursted through my room doors.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!" She barked at me.

"Cleaning up." I said plainly as I continued to make my bed.

She threw a shoe at me head. "DIDNT I TELL YOUR LITTLE ÁSS TO CLEAN UP ME AND YOUR FATHERS ROOM BEFORE YOU DID YOUR FILTHY ROOM , YOU MUT!"

"I did." I rubbed the back of my head.

"THERE IS A PIECE OF LINT ON MY FLOOR YOU STUPID CÜNT!" She yelled at me.

I stopped in my tracks , turned on my heels and faced her. My face was boiling with blood as I screamed, "LEMME TAKE A SPIN ON THIS BROKE ASS CHICK. LISTEN YOU BUM BEAZLE BITCH, YOU NOT BOUT TO BE CALLIN ME OUT MY MUHH FÜCKIN NAME 'ROUN!! IT AINT ROLLIN THAT WAY WIT YO OLE 'I amm perfectt' LOOKIN TAIL! UP OUT MY ROOM!" I said.

She grabbed me and slapped me. "You DO NOT talk to me like that."

I immediately hit her back and start beating this ishh out of her. Every day since I met this lady, she's been hitting me so I finally decided to hit back! As I was hitting her my dad walked in on us.

"Destiney!!" He yelled as he got me off of her.

"DAD SHE-" I began but I was interupted by her fake crying.

"Pookie she hit me." Trina said.

I fumed as my dad said, "Destiney that's it. I want you OUT of my house....OUT!" He said pointing at the door.

"Gladly." I said as I grabbed my lucky bear, phone and other things I needed. Trina threw my clothes at me, pushed me out and closed the door in my face. Hell, she threw my dog out to. I had a baby pitt named Lady and she just threw her out with me. I cupped my puppy in my hands, picked up my things and called up my older sister Imani. I told her what had happened and she called my mom to pick me up.. I been living with my mom ever since.

A tear slid down my cheek in rememberance of that day..Yes I still have Lady. I take her to obedience school while I'm in school. Now she's grown up, has a mate and lives, sleeps, eats and drinks in my room...yep she lives with me and sleeps in my bed with me. She protects me and everything....I love my dog.

I grabbed my backpack and called to Lady. She came over with her leash in her mouth and dropped it at my foot. Smart already. I put the leash on her as I went downstairs, grabbed me and her a breakfast snack as we walked out of the house and hopped into my truck. She sat in the back because she likes to lay down when riding car rides in the morning. I began to drive....
