Hello hello!
A quick announcement before the chapter begins; next week I will be going on vacation! Because of this, chapter forty-one will be delayed for about a week and a half-ish, maybe two weeks.
I apologize for the disappointing news, but I'd like to take the time that I'm gone to relax and refresh myself, so that I can come back to the story with a more open mind since (as I've been saying) Foxy Pirates has been a rough arc to get through on my end. I think taking this break will help me a lot!
Don't get me wrong, I am pretty happy with how it's turned out so far – but I can't lie and say it hasn't been draining – still, you guys have been super amazing and supportive and I couldn't ask for better people to be reading my work! I feel super guilty having to leave you guys hanging when the finale for this arc is so close... So, when I come back from my vacation, I'll be dedicating most of my time to ensure the chapter comes out as soon as I can get it finished :)
This chapter was a tad rushed, so apologies if there are any crazy mistakes lol. Thank you all so much for your patience!! See ya soon!
Happy reading!! <3

"(Y/n)! Up here, look over here!"
"It's me, Kyle! Can't you see me?"
"I'll be waiting for you when all this is over– I'm cheering for you, (Y/n)!"
Luffy side-eyes the loud-mouthed stranger, mouth stuffed with fried takoyaki. Honestly, with such yummy food present, the captain probably wouldn't have even noticed the dude if he hadn't said your name. Something about the blonde was throwing Luffy off, but he couldn't tell for what reason.
"Man, that guy sure is weird... What's his deal?" The boy wonders aloud, popping another savory ball into his mouth and smacking his lips.
Robin and him sat side by side, leaning against Shelly the long-long horse while her owner helped out during the next game, and the archeologist turned her head to spare a glance. When she saw the guy Luffy was talking about, Robin chuckled, looking thoroughly amused as her bright-blues squinted. "Ah, I see you've finally noticed him. According to the others, that boy claims to be your soulmate's 'biggest fan.'"
"Really?" Luffy sounded as if in awe, whipping around to address his (former) crewmate. "I didn't know she had any fans... That's great!"
At that, Robin continues to laugh. The captain was hilariously optimistic, and the archeologist wasn't surprised in him being so air headed about the potential issue – if he even saw it as that. "Sure, you could certainly put it that way."
The Straw Hat boy shrugs, not interpreting what was so funny about the stuff he had said, but Robin was weird so whatever. Delving back into his snack, he quickly forgets about the guy in the background.
Robin, ever observant, takes note of the overzealous fan, who races over to Foxy to start-up a heated discussion. She hums with interest, yet unable to hear the conversation, returns her focus back to the game. The announcer recently began to shout his excitement up above, drawing everyone's full attention.

Down below on the rocky-reefs, the rest of the crew are trying to formulate a game-plan, having come together once all the chaos I had made was over and done with.
We were essentially playing a game of Red Light Green Light, though I'm not certain of what it was actually called (I hadn't been paying the announcer much mind, for good reason). The rules were fairly simple, from how Usopp explained them to me: If you were caught moving after the 'stop light' was called, you were out, and whichever team touches the person designated as the 'stop light' wins the match. Tonjit, the old nomad, was actually the one who'd be representing said 'stop light.' Otherwise, the major difference between this game and the children's version was the usage of weapons. Grand.
