“ Memories with the right person will always remain priceless.”
______________________________________Avantika's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear. I groggily reached over to turn it off and sat up in bed, stretching my arms and yawning. After a quick shower, I got dressed in a crisp white shirt and black pants, ready to take on the day as the CEO of my company.
As I made my way to the kitchen to make some breakfast, my phone rang. I smiled when I saw Shivansh's name on the screen.
"Hey," I answered, trying to sound more awake than I felt.
"Hey, my love," Shivansh replied, his voice sounding a little distant. "I'm so sorry, but something's come up and I have to leave for Rajasthan today."
I felt a pang of disappointment, but I knew that Shivansh's duties as a king couldn't be ignored. "What's going on?" I asked.
"It's just some urgent business that I need to take care of," Shivansh explained. "I'll be back in three days, I promise."
I sighed, feeling a little sad that we wouldn't get to spnd the next few days together. "Okay, I understand," I said. "You have to take care of your kingdom, after all."
"I'll miss you," Shivansh said, his voice filled with emotion.
"I'll miss you too," I replied, feeling a lump form in my throat.
We talked for a few more minutes before Shivansh had to hang up. I finished making my breakfast, feeling a little melancholy now that Shivansh was gone.
But I knew I had to focus on my own work. As the CEO of my company, I couldn't take the day off just because I am not in the mood . So I headed to the office, determined to get everything done on my to-do list.
The day flew by in a bur of meetings and conference calls. I barely had time to think about Shivansh, but when I did, I couldn't help but smile.
Finally, at the end of the day, I headed home, exhausted but satisfied with all that I had accomplished. As I walked in the door, I decided to call my friends Muskan and Deeksha to tell them all about my romantic evening with Shivansh.
They squealed with excitement when I told them about the proposal and our decision to be boyfriend and girlfriend. "We're so happy for you, Avi!" Muskan exclaimed.
"We have to celebrate," Deeksha added. "Can we come over tonight?"
I laughed, feeling grateful for my wonderful friends. "Of course, you can come over," I said. "Let's have a girls' night!"
As soon as they both arrived, they dumped their bags on the floor and flopped down on the couch, looking like they'd just run a marathon.
"Where's the ice cream?" Muskan demanded, her eyes scanning the room.
"And the pizza?" Deeksha added, bouncing up from the couch to rummage through the fridge.
I laughed. "You guys are like two hungry birds. The ice cream is in the freezer, and the pizza is on the kitchen table."
Muskan and Deeksha cheered and dug in, making happy sighs as they savored the cold treats and hot pizza.
Deeksha, being the coffee lover that she is, also made herself a cup of coffee and sat down next to me.
"Finally hamari phycho bestie ko jhalna bala koi mil gaya" Muskan said while laughing.
"Bechra Raja sahab " deeksha said while making sad face.
