Adopted by Colleen Evans

Chapter 1

Hey guys! This is my new book on Wattpad! I'm not the best writer on Wattpad, but this is a book I have always wanted to write! Hope you like it! 🌸

"Morgan!" Shouted Kate (My foster mother) "Breakfast is ready!" Without a answer I rushed down to the kitchen, pushing the small Jack Russell out the way; jumping onto the huge bold black chair awaiting by the kitchen table.
"Morgan I need to talk to you" spoke Kate, as she leaned forward.
"Oh what have I done now" I grunted whilst stabbing my fork into the soggy pancakes.
"You have done nothing wrong sweetheart" smiled Kate "I have some amazing news for you"  my emotions suddenly changed as I looked up to my foster mother. "Good news?"
"That's right" explained Kate "I had a phone call, by someone named Colleen. She wants to adopt you!" Hearing the news made me toss my fork across the table and jumping off my chair - sliding the chair backwards, making the dog growl. " Adopt me! Wow! That's awesome" I screamed; jumping around. "What time is she coming?"
"At 12:00am, so you better get ready"  I looked at my watch, realising it's already 11:00am. "Urm thanks for the pancakes, sorry I could not finish them" I said, whilst I sped up to my room - slamming the door in excitement. Kate chuckled as she grabbed the plate of pancakes and put them in the trash.

All of my excitement got me feeling sick. So I slowed down and sat on my bouncy bed. "I need to take it steady" I said to myself, while I got up and emptied all my clothes out of my closet. I slid my bright yellow suitcase  from under my bed towards me and sipped it open; making fresh air blow my light brown hair backwards.

After about 30 minuets - I was finally done packing all of my stuff into two cases. All at once my foster mother called me from the kitchen, I galloped down stairs with my two suitcases dragging along. "Yes" I softy said to Kate; looking into her bright green eyes. 
"It looks like Colleen is here early"
I watched a black car drive past the clear window and stop at the huge blue door. I jumped about for a few seconds - then stopped to let myself calm down. "Yay!" I shouted "I can't wait"
Kate smiled at me and looked back at the door; walking towards it, to open it. As Kate tugged the door open, I peered around; trying to figure out what Colleen looked like. Is she going to be old? I thought. Colleen pushed her car door open and glanced at me; smiling. I take that back, she is nothing like old. Watching Colleen walk towards me; made me smile.
"Hi Morgan" smiled Colleen as she wrapped her arms around me - making me warm.
"Hello" I answered. I picked my arms off Colleen and faced Kate, giving her a big hug. " I will miss you" I said
"I will miss you too sweetheart" I said one last goodbye to Kate and headed off with Colleen; closing the door behind me.
"So hello Morgan" spoke Colleen
"Hello"
Colleen took my two suit cases and dropped them in the back seat; closing it behind her, then pulled the car door open to let me get in. "I get to go in the front?" I said "with you?"
"Sure why not" smiled Colleen; as she walked round to let herself into the dark coloured car. Without a word I pulled my body onto the cold leather seat and shut the door behind me - allowing cold air to whoosh into my hair. Colleen closed the door and grabbed her seatbelt on; whilst I copied her, pulling my seatbelt over me.
