When “Landslide” was over, Rhiannon said,
“And now, even though she didn't know him very well, my girlfriend Alana also has a song that she'd like to dedicate to him.”
She pulled up “Ashes” by Celine Dion.
She sniffled and hung her head. She peered to see Rhiannon disassociating. She felt bad for her. She knew what it felt like to lose her father because she thought he was dead for a while.
The song ended and Alana got off the podium.
