The stage was well lit that day: the stage lights were properly placed in each corner of the stage. The curtains were just waiting to slide open. Miku and the other vocaloids put on their headsets, ready to  perform. Miku's heart pounded, it would be the first time they would sing and she felt uncomfortable. Her heart beat and her legs trembled, Kaito placed his hand on her shoulder, comforting her. "We'll be fine." Miku knew Kaito could be right, but she still feared they might do something wrong and their entire career would be ruined.

"Yeah, but what i-" Kaito placed his hand on her lips, hushing her. Miku cheeks melted red blush. "Lets just do our best, that's all that matters in the end." She turned around, all her friends, both new and old were waiting patiently for her. They didn't seem worried about making a mistake at all. Each and everyone of them had enthusiasm written on their faces. "We're ready if you're ready," Haku smiled. Miku turned her attention to the others, Rin, Len, the two simply shrugged. Her newer friends, Teto and Neru patted her on the shoulder, "Relax, we can handle this!" Neru cheered. "Well, we did practice, and we look much better than we did in Tokyo." It was true, they had practiced every day to make sure they wouldn't  do anything wrong.

Yuki even gave them new sets of clothes to make sure they would appeal to the eyes' of the audience. She dressed Miku in a elegant, ocean blue dress with a black skirt below her waist. She gave Haku a gray blouse and black sleeves and shorts, which looked much better than the white blouse she had that made her look like some sort of experiment. Her red eyes seemed to come to life from and blended with her gray, long hair that went down her back. Kaito was given a equally elegant blue cape and a great white coat that matched his blue hair and eyes.. Neru, one of the newer vocaloids, was given a gray jacket with a yellow outline on her skirt, her eyes were also yellow. Neru usually frowned a lot, but for the moment being, she had a soft smile. Neru also tied her hair back in a large ponytail.

Teto with her pink drill like ponytail and red eyes, wore a black-red jacket, with the area near the shoulders removed for either comfort or exposure. "Don't worry, we'll fail horribly." "Why thank- wait what?!" "Just kidding, we'll do fine!" Teto giggled. "Oh, okay," Miku sweated. Miku heard clapping noises outside. She stepped next to the edge of the curtains and leaned over the edge of its velvet red robe. "Okay, lets do this," Miku stepped out on to the stage. The lights flashed on her, almost blinding her. She still felt uncomfortable, but she knew her friends would be there for her. All the other vocaloids stood next to her. Soft guitar music projected through the room, this was now her time to shine. The music hummed harmoniously.

Miku and the vocaloids hopped up and down, "Honey honey honey," they stopped. Miku stood in the front and danced. The vocaloids sang further, the people watching them seemed happier. Maybe she could cope with her stage fright, maybe Miku could finish the song without any problems. Miku smiled and sang further. The whole song went very well: Miku gained a lot more confidence in herself and became less and less nervous. By the time she finished the song with her friends, everyone in the room clapped. "Thanks," Miku and the others bowed. "What did you think?" one of the audience asked the man sitting next to her. "Well.. well," She waved for him to finish answering her question. "Wait," he walked up to the stage, he went behind one of the curtains, where there was a set of controls. Click. The audience in the room electronically flashed and disappeared. When he went back to his seat, he shrugged.

"The hologram audience was giving me the chills. "Okay, Scott, but remember that the vocaloids are more used to holograms." Scott nodded, annoyed: he heard Yuki explain several times already. "Yeah, the holograms are the same species as the Vocaloids." "Well, not necessarily." Scott nodded again, "Yes, they're not exactly the same though. The vocaloids are pretty human-like and way more obnoxious than their hologram counterparts." "Hey. We heard that!" Neru yelled. She pulled out her cellphone and started furiously texting an emote on the phone. When she finished, she showed Scott the emote of a person flipping him off in the phone.
