End of the Line

39 4 7

You said you weren't strong enough,
That it had to end.
You said that you couldn't take it,
That this was it.

But I wouldn't let you,
I helped keep you strong.
And when you were weak,
You had me to lean on.

But then roles had reversed,
And I was down.
I wanted it to stop,
Before I was to drown.

But you didn't let me fall.
You kept me strong.
And when I was weak,
I had you to lean on.

And that's what friends are for,
And that's what we did.
We made it together.
To the end of the line.
