"So, Akira-san, what do you like to do in your free time?" a girl asked to Akira.
It was his first day, and man, Akira was good at this. I sat beside him, eating his table snacks. "Well, I usually go out and hang out with Fire," he said, ruffling my hair.
"Dude, you're messing my amazing hair," I mumbled, resting my head on his lap. "Order some pretzels for when I wake up." He ruffled my hair again. The fangirls squealed at our public display of (friend) affection. I wondered if they knew I was straight..
"Oi, Fire, don't laze around with Akira-senpai and go to your guests," Kyoya passed by, whispering into my ear.
"No, but I feel comfortable here," I said. I waved over my guests. "Do you girls mind moving here?"
"Kya~ okay!" they all replied in unison.
"Akira-san, are you good friends with Fire-san?" a girl named Momoi from Haruhi's bunch (Haruhi was away so she visited us) asked.
"Yeah, we're childhood friends, along with-" Tamaki suddenly arrived, covering Akira's honest mouth.
"Ahahaha! We are childhood friends too!" he laughed nervously.
"Oi, Tama-ta-" Tamaki used his other hand to cover my mouth. He glared at both of us before putting on a forced smile and walking away.
"How about Kyoya? Did you guys meet before?" the fangirls eagerly asked.
"No," Kyoya said as he was passing by. How ironic that he passes by at the best time.
I closed my eyes, yawning. "It's time for my next appointment, Akira, apparently it's a newcomer, so you'll have to shoo away everybody," I muttered.
"How can I shoo them away when you're still on my lap?" he said, lifting me up like I was a feather.
Wobbly on my feet, I went to the door to wait for my next appointment. "Oi, Kyoya, when's she comin'?!" I shouted lazily.
"She's right here." I jumped, seeing Kyoya before me. He stepped aside. My eyes widened. It was another Kyoya, except with longer hair and a dress for elementary.
"A relative of yours, Kyoya?" I asked incredulously.
"Y-yes, I-I'hmm... his c-cousin," the girl stuttered. She definitely did not carry confidence like her oh-so-powerful cousin. But she looked so freakin' vulnerable that I couldn't help but to think about hugging the crap out of her. Whoa wait. She looks like Kyoya though...
"What's your name?" I asked softly, trying to make her feel more comfortable. Her eyes wandered about the room and she made this hum sound, swinging on her feet.
"I-I'hmm Anata Ootori," she said her name smoothly, as if she only had practiced that part.
I smirked.
"Welcome."
