Scene 7 Chris Kirkman x Reader

You grab your /favorite color/ coat as you walk the exit of headquarters and head to NeoMars Park. After moments of walking and almost arriving to the park, you feel as if someone is watching you. You quickly turned around and to your surprise, an old man walks from behind you. "Oh hello sir, do you need any help?" You ask the old man politely. "Yes. Can you please help me to that bench there?" The old man asks. "Of course!" You say as you grab the mans hand and another around his shoulder. "My names Christopher dear, you don't need to be all formal with me." He says as you help him walk to the bench that is about 15 steps away. Something seems familiar about the man. "You know young dear. You remind me so much of my late wife when she was young." The old man begins to say, starting of a conversation. "Oh really?" You asked surprised. "Yes."

As you both arrive to the bench, you slowly help settle the old man down on the bench, as you sit right next to him. "Oh, I'm very sorry for your lost. What happened to her, if I may ask?" You ask the man. The old man responds in a sad way, "She was killed while we were on a mission. And it was all my fault, I left her." "Oh sir, there's no need for blaming yourself, I'm sure you weren't the cause of what happened to her." You respond trying to make the old man feel better." "No, but it was. If I didn't leave her, if I tried harder to save her, maybe she would have still been with me. But I guess I chose the path of having her vanish before my eyes. I wish I never left her, I wish I didn't follow our teams order and plans. Then maybe I could have saved her. I broke our promise. But this is now I believe. She wouldn't have wanted me to be sad anyways. But let's not be upset about that. It's our anniversary after all, I'm sure she wants me to be happier now." He says with a small smile. "Oh, alright. Then.. How about we change the topic about her a little! So How did you both start out to be if I may ask?" You ask the old man. "Well. It was a day, like.. Today! It's actually our anniversary of being together for so long today! And this was the exact place where we told our feelings for each other and began to be together. It all happened when I walked into her room around 4:30 pm and I asked her if she wanted to take a little walk around NeoMars City at exactly 6:00 pm." The man began. You then for a split second wonder why the man remembers the exact time he asked his wife out, and wonder why what he's saying is so far exactly what has happened to you and Chris. "I was so excited when she said yes. I did kind of felt bad for interrupting her, she was playing /your favorite game/. And then, I went back to my room to get ready. Even though I was already all dressed up, I was still late. But when I arrived-" the man's words slowly stops as he spaces out. "Oh I'm sorry where was I? Oh yes. My wife was absolutely beautiful. Even when I went into her room and from when I saw her at the park." The man says continuing. "She had beautiful /short long medium/ and /color of your hair/ hair that went perfectly with her / your color of eyes/." He says. "Wow, she must have been amazing" you respond back, but inside you wonder why almost everything he says about his wife, resembles to you. "And her name was.. /your full name/." He says. You are now 100% mind blown. You have not told this man your name and yet he says his wife's name is yours, and you are really wondering who is this wife of his. "Oh wow sir! Your wife seems like an amazing person, I wished I got to know her too since we have so many similarities. No wonder you said I reminded you of her! I wonder who she is!" You respond to the old man amazed. "Well my love, she is you."

Your eyes and mouth widen as you process what he said into your brain. You feel as everything had stopped. Like time itself. You can not hear anything. The image of you looking at the man from sitting in the bench stays still. And the only thing you can feel are tears slowly, very slowly stream down your face. "/YOUR NAME/!" You hear someone scream out. You snap out of whatever happened for a small moment and look up. You see Chris running towards you, It seems like Chris has an object in his hand, a.. Rock? "/YOUR NAME/ GET AWAY FROM THAT MAN QUICKLY!" He screams out. You see Chris aim the rock and throws it at the man as he runs even faster towards you both. You see the man slowly disappear in front of your eyes before the rocks hits him. But during the small time he disappeared you hear him say "I love you /your name/." As the man finally disappears, the rock misses its target and hits the grass. Chris then goes up to you and grabs one of your shoulders with his hand. You aren't able to move, you can't feel your limbs. All you can feel is your heart aching and more warm tears stream down your face. "Hey.. / your name/? Are you alright-" Chris asks but before finishing his sentence, you cut him off. "Chris" you say in tears still not able to move. Chris places his other hand on your other shoulder and sits down next to you. "What's wrong? What did the man do to you did her hurt you? What did he say?" He asks you with a look of concerned. "Please.. Please don't leave me." You say with even more tears. Chris lets out a sigh. "What lies did that man tell you /your name/-" "I love you too Chris." You dive towards Chris' mouth cutting him off with a kiss. Chris is surprised by your actions, but he then returns the kiss back to you. You then pull away from the kiss and embrace him in a hug. Chris rests his chin on your head. "Hey /your name/?" You mumbled in tears a 'yes?' "Will you be the bumble to my bee?" You smile through your tears as you look up at him, and still hugging him. "Of course Christopher." You say giving him a peck on the cheek. Chris smiles and you smile back at him, still in sadness. "I will never leave you." Chris says tightening the hug. "Promise?" You asked. "Promise." He returns back. You both stay like that both embracing one another in a hug for the next two hours and return back to headquarters.
