Chapter Fourteen

Katalina's POV:

When I walked back into the room Nik had Stefan's hand in the fire. Threatening to burn him alive if he doesn't get his coffin back. So Damon leaves along with Elijah. 

"Go ahead, kill me. I know you'll do it when he brings the coffin." Stefan said. Nik pulls him away from the fire.

"You really have given up, haven't you, huh?" Nik said.

"Where's the fight? Where's the ripper?" Nik asked. Then Elijah and Damon walk back into the room. The compelled woman had a tray in her hand covered by a cloth.

"Elijah, why haven't you left?" Nik asked Elijah.

"Well, where are your manners, brother? You forgot dessert." Elijah said reveling two silver daggers. 

"What have you done?" Nik said with slight fear in his voice.

"What have you done? See, I've learned not to trust you and your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now." Elijah said then suddenly one of his brothers walked in.

"Kol." Nik said. 

"Long time, brother." Kol said. Then another brother sped in. 

"Finn, don't." Nik begged but Finn shoved a dagger in Nik's hand. Anger filled my body. I sped over to Finn sending high voltage of electrical current through his body making he drop to the ground. Nik tried to leave the room only to be stopped by Rebekah. She then stabs him in the stomach.

"This is for our mother." She said. I then sped over to her sending the same shocking current as I did with Finn. She too dropped to the ground. I then took the dagger out of Nik. When Finn got up he held onto Nik so that he couldn't move. 

"Your free to go. This is family business." Elijah said as he just stared at Nik. 

"Elskan.. perhaps you should leave too." Elijah recommended.

"I don't think so." I said as I walked over to Finn shocking him again causing him to let go of Nik. 

"The next one to touch him will get another dagger and this time it will be me shoving it in your chest." I said as I stood in front of Nik. 

"I like what you've done with the new place, Nik." Rebekah said as she picks up a vase and throws it against the wall. 

"I wanted it t be for all of us. A place we could all call home. A place we could all be a family. None of us would ever have to be alone again." Nik says. I could her the sadness in his voice.

"Oh you're right. None of us will be." Elijah said. 

"You're staying behind." Kol said. 

"We're leaving you, Nik. Right after I kill that doppelganger wench. And you will be alone. Always and forever." Rebekah said.

"That's where your wrong, Rebekah. He will always have me." I said. Nik then threatened them if they ran. 

"And then you'll become everything you hate.. our father." Elijah said. 

"I'm the hybrid! I can't be killed!" Nik shouted.

"I have nothing to fear from any of you." He added. 

"You will when we have that coffin." Elijah said. Then suddenly the doors open. We all look over and it was there mother. She walks over to Nik.

"Close enough." I say as I stand in front of him.

"Look at me. Do you know why I'm here?" She asked. 

"You're here to kill me." Nik said with tears.

"Niklaus, you are my son. And I am here to forgive you." She said. I didn't trust her one bit.. but I couldn't say that. 

"I want us to be a family again." She said looking at everyone. She then looks at me and introduces herself. I didn't respond at first. 

"Katalina." I said to her. 

"Its lovely to meet you Katalina." Esther said. Rebekah ended up leaving the room with her mother. Leaving Nik, myself, Elijah, Kol and Finn. 

"What are you Katalina? Witch perhaps?" Kol asked. 

"Not telling." I said. 

"Why?" Kol said.

"Why the hell do you care?" I asked. 

"Just want to get to know my mate." Both Elijah and Nik looked at him.

"Impossible." Elijah said. 

"Not really. Alice did say I had more than one mate... she just didn't say how many." I said. 

"I'm sure you can find out if its true, love." Nik said. 

"Yes... yes I can." I said. I then use my physical attraction on Kol when it didn't work I knew he was one of my mates. When I tried to use it on Finn he didn't react. He was my mate as well.

"Its true... but it seems Finn is as well." I said. 

"Great.." Nik said. 

"What did you just do?" Finn asked me.

"Your a Cold One... aren't you?" Kol asked me. 

"Cold One?" Finn said.

"Mother's failed creation." Elijah said.

"Rude. Calling me a failed creation Elijah." I said as Nik pulls me into his arms.

"My apologizes Elskan." Elijah said.

"Whatever." I said rolling my eyes as I wave him off. 

"I must say you are much more beautiful than Tatia." Kol says to me. 

"Katalina is much more beautiful than all of the doppelgangers." Nik says.

"Thank you Nik." I say. I then look at Elijah. I walk up to him with a smile on my face. But it fades and I shock him bringing him to his knees. 

"Next time you try and harm Nik, Elijah. I'll be shoving a dagger in your chest and leave you there. Mate or not, I expect you all to get along. Not try and kill each other." I said letting him go. I then take Nik's hand and we head upstairs to his room. 

"Are you okay?" I asked him. 

"Would you have left?" He asked me. 

"Hey, look at me." He then looks at me with tears in his eyes.

"I would never leave you Nik. You are my mate and I love you." I said to him. Nik pulled me into a kiss. Our innocent kiss turn into a heated passionate kiss. 

"I want to complete our bond." I tell him after we break away from our kiss. With a more lustful kiss Nik picked me up and laid me down on his bed. That night Nik showed me how much he truly loves me. 

~The next morning~

I woke up with Nik holding me tightly. I smile formed on my face. When I tried to get up Nik pulled me back into his arms. 

"Good morning, love." Nik said. 

"Good morning, handsome." I say. Nik gently caresses my cheek then pulls me into a kiss. Best way to wake up in the morning.

So I made the decision to add Finn to the mix of soulmates. I can't decided what I should do with Damon. Any ideas? What would you guys would like to see? Let me know in the comments below.
