The loud music and drinks was a real bother to Iwazumi. It's their first party since they moved to Tokyo. A teammate on their volleyball team invited them and Oikawa obliged, much to Iwazumi's distaste.

He searched for the mop haired brunette, to find him leaning against a wall, drinking some sort of conocation. "What are you drinking?" Iwazumi barked.

Oikawa turned and smiled softly. "Something~. It's kinda sweet yet it burns my throat..I dunno," Oikawa replied. He was drunk already.

"C'mon, we should really get you home," Iwazumi pointed desperately. "It's pretty late and you're gonna be really sick by morning."

"Hmm..I'll take you up on that," Oikawa laughed. He was walking normally yet his steps were heavier, and his swaying was another key. "I'm okay..I think I can walk perfectly."

"I don't think so.." Iwazumi said. "The apartment is just a 45 minute walk from here let's go."

As they trek their way home, Oikawa was giggling and blabbering something incoherent that slipped right through Iwazumi's ears. He continued walking. As they got to the crosswalk, Oikawa was almost sane.

"I have a class tomorrow, damn," Oikawa cursed. Iwazumi almost wanted to laugh. The walking sign flashed. Oikawa stepped down first.

Before Iwazumi could barely react, a fast car was coming closer. A second passed before he could think.

Oikawa turned right before, feeling a hard shove. Then a loud screech. He got up and the sight he was greeted with was a hard punch in the gut.

Iwazumi on the ground, barely breathing. "HAJIME!"

Oikawa stayed by Iwazumi's side, praying and scolding himself. He was rocking back and forth, his sobs uncontrolled. Iwazumi's family was there once they heard the news, Oikawa's parents in tow. Though it wasn't exactly his fault, they still had that look in their eyes:

disappointment,

sadness.

He left the room, to wash himself up. He still reeked of the party. Once he returned, the adults have left. Oikawa was finally alone. He gently caressed the boy's hands, smiling sadly.

"Please...Please get better..I'll stop by sometime tomorrow okay?"

He left, hoping that once he returned, Iwazumi would open his eyes, greeted him, hug him silly, anything.

Sadly, you can't have everything you wished for. For the next two weeks, Iwazumi remained in a comatose, asleep in a dream he'll never wake up from.

Oikawa nevertheless continued to visit him, changing the flowers week from week, talking to the air, though he's hoping Iwazumi is listening.

He even does his homework, which is rare, and listens to soft music, knowing that Iwazumi should relax to it. (If he even was listening)

By the beginning of the third week, Oikawa was a disaster. His deep bags, hollowed body, and lifeless eyes. He was skipping out the last 4 days, his sight unbearable already.

He yawned and leaned over Iwazumi's body. He closed his eyes, tears spilling silently, his only wish and thought through that tear.
