𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗘 𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗗𝗟𝗬 walked out of the house after elizabeth and gracie, seeing them slowly walking down the street towards her car "fuck fuck" she began jogging after them
"yeah its surprisingly a warm jacket for being cropped" she heard elizabeth say as she finally caught up to them "hey hi" she said appearing at gracies side, causing them to pause their conversation to look at her "fuck hi" she breathed running a hand through her hair, out of breath from running after them and kicking l̶o̶r̶c̶a̶n̶ in the face a good few times
"hi" gracie gave her a small smile instinctively leaning into the older girl "hey" elizabeth smiled "we were discussing pradas latest line of cropped winter jackets" she filled the black haired girl in, billie just nodded not focusing on the words as she wrapped her arm around gracies waist pulling her impossibly closer to her
the urge to protect the brunette had since increased in the last ten minutes "wait cropped winter jacket?" billie looked up confused "yep, theyre actually like functional as well its crazy" the girl nodded stuffing her hands into her jacket "how- oh yeah i lowkey forget yall are rich" billie blinked
"okay we're not "rich" we are middle class thank you" elizabeth rolled her eyes "then what am i?" gracie asked, joining back into the conversation "i dont know poor?" elizabeth scoffed keeping the same attitude
gracies jaw dropped "okay wow im offended, fuck you" she gave her the finger "youre excluded from this conversation me and billie are about to start having" she looked up at billie
"uh so, tomatos are a fruit.. how's that make you feel?" billie let out a laugh at the sudden topic change

𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗗 decided to stay at billies that night not wanting to have to talk to her mom after everything. the girl was still asleep, billie had been awake for an hour and had just been watching the girls chest slowly rise and fall she tried to brain storm ideas to discuss the situation
no one wants to discuss that just drop it
no it's a serious crime we have to discuss it
what if she's uncomfortable let her come to you

that has been her brain since the moment she woke up, to say it was annoying would be generous. she just wanted to wake up, watch how peaceful her girl was in sleep and make her some food but instead the memories of what had happened had immediately flooded her mind and now she was overthinking everything
