8.Time and Raving

Monica POV:

I don't know what has been going on between me and Isaac and now after the kiss I am even more confused. I love the timing though. The minute me and Isaac put ourselves in this situation Leighton starts to show an interest again.

We were all sat there watching the television when Isaac went to get a drink from the kitchen , I soon followed.

"Hey , can we talk?" I questioned. I wanted to know what was going on between us.

"Yeah , of course we can." Isaac smiled, he came and sat next to me on the counter.

"What are we? I mean I knew we were close but then there was the kiss and you are sat in there now and all I want to do is be near you again!" I admitted.

"I want to be near you to!" Isaac smiled and then pulled me close before kissing me!

"This is really cute but can we get back to the movie now?" Leighton interrupted us , again!

After Leighton interrupted we went back and carried on watching the movie. We had been sat there for 15 minutes when Isaacs phone began to ring. Isaac went into the kitchen to answer. Isaac was gone for about 2 minutes when he came back.

"Monica , Derek wants us now!" Isaac said as he entered the room , sounding slightly alarmed.

"What now?"

"Yes , he said meet him and Scott at Deaton's." Isaac answered.

"Okay then. You two make yourselves at home." I nodded to Leighton and Brianne before following Isaac out.

"One killed the husband but the other had to take care of the wife. Do we know why?" Deaton asked as he placed some kind of talacement on the table.

"I don't think Jackson could do it , his mother died pregnant. I don't think he could let the same thing happen to somebody else." Scott said. Scott must have known about my father too because he passed me a sympathetic smile.

"Yeah but surely he would of known the other one would kill the wife and he didn't do anything to stop that!" I argued when I noticed that Isaac looked like he was in deep thought before a look of enlightenment appeared on his face. "Isaac , what is it?" I questioned.

"How do we know it isn't part of the rules." Isaac stated, gaining a confused look from us all. "The Kanima kills murderers , if Jackson kills the wife then the baby dies too." He continued.

"So that would mean that your father was a murderer?" Scott asked Isaac.

"Wouldn't surprise me if he was." Isaac said with no emotion at all. I took his hand in mine , gaining a look from Derek.

"The book says their bonded right? " Deaton asked , Derek nodded. "What if the fear of water isn't coming from Jackson but the person controlling him? What if something that affects the Kanima also affects its master?" Deaton questioned as he put mountain ash around the talacement he placed down earlier.

"Meaning what?" Isaac asked.

"Meaning we can catch them , both of them."

"So I heard you helped Scott before practice?" I asked Isaac as he walked out of Lacrosse practice.

"How did you hear that I was the first one out of practice?" Isaac asked confused.

"No , I literally heard it on my way to class. Isaac was there any need to be that excessive?" I joked , from what I heard through the door he definitely hurt someone!
