Bewtween Us Two: Chapter 2

|Laurens POV|

Okay, okay, I asked Mr.Levine that question because I wanted him to talk to him. I'm not going to lie, Mr.Levine was a total hottie! I think it's normal for a student to have a small crush on a teacher. I mean, it obviously won't lead to anything! So why does it matter?

"I'll call you guys up individually and give you your book." Mr.Levine said

Mr.Levine called each student one by one and it almost seemed like forever until he finally called my name.

"Laura" Mr.Levine called out. Finally!

I got up from my seat , making my way up to his desk. I felt pretty confident for it being the first day of school. I was wearing high waisted shorts, a Brandy Melive top, a creamed cardigan from Urban Outfitters, and some nude flats. As for my hair, I just had it curled in a pony tail.

"Your book number is 23." Mr.Levine said.

"Alright." was all I said.

As I was reaching towards the book, he was too. Which caused us to brush each others hand. He quickly pulled away as he was frightened, and I picked up the book. It was an awkward moment so I immediately went back to my seat. As I did so, he got up from his desk and began to speak.

|Adams POV|

Her hand wad incredibly soft, and she looked so beautiful in her clothes. But the moment was quite awkward and weird. So I got up from my desk, and began to talk.

"In here we read as a class. That means no reading ahead, even he you already read the book." I said looking directly as Laura as I was clicking my pen. I'm almost positive the whole class looked at her as well.

"Got it Laura?" I said with a smile.

She let out a soft giggle. "Got it!"

"Questions?" I asked the class.

One hand flew up. It was Jake's .

"Yes, Jake?"

"Two questions. One, what if you like, have better things to do then read this book? And two, what if I don't read the book?"

"And what would you have better to do then read the book?" I asked him.

"Um, be with Laura."

All I could think if was, "Umm?"

I looked at him confused. "And exactly why would she want to be with you?"

He let out a laugh and a grin as he slouched down on his chair.

"Because she's my girlfriend!?"

I dropped the confused look and realized how stupid I probably looked right now.

"Well Jake, Unless you want to fail my class already, I suggest you read the book because I'm almost positive that Laura doesn't want to fail my class. Isn't that right Laura?" I said looking directly at that beauty. Dammit stop it Adam, it's not right!

It looked like, no scratch that. I put her in an awkward situation because she hid her face with her hand and said, "I guess so?"

I felt bad. The bell rung and everyone got up from their seats and went towards the door. Except for one student, Laura.
