Chapter 1: Control

Emily Pov

''COME ON EMILY FASTER!'' My dad yelled as i barely dodged the knives he sent flying my way. My heart was pounding and I'm sure if i was 100% human i'd be sweating like a river or dead from a heart attack.

''Dam it dad I'm trying! I'm starved!'' I told him as he finished with the knives. My dad Kyle as trained me with my mom Elena since i turned 13, The training was to build my strength and teach me strategies for becoming of age for my vampire to awaken.

For me My Vampire awoke early, By 15 i gained my speed, strength and vision. I was always pushed to my limit as i was the only one in this century that was half human half vampire. As my dad say 'Your one of a kind who knows were your limit lies'.

And he was right, I got stronger, Faster even more than him. We were attacked many times by vampires the reason is unknown but i killed them along with my family as they were a threat. First i was terrified until it got better but it all changed as i turned sixteen.

We were ambushed that cold night in December, Caught of guard they had the upper hand we fought hard and long and more came. I didn't know what was going on but all i thought about was my mother.

She was just a human even tho her fighting skills. She was killed during the fight, and her last words will always stick with me. 'I love you my family, fight stay united strong. Kyle my mate how i love you, always forever, Emily fight, live, love, survive. i love you baby girl I'm sorry' were her last word.

When her last beat stopped dad went ballistic to say the least as i stood frozen looking at my mothers lifeless body. I could see balls of fire everywhere knowing it was my dad throwing them his ability was fire when i reality set i and i turned dad had killed already half of them from rage.

And that's when it happened. My body felt like it was on fire it rose from my toes to my head my body trembling as i watch 10 vampires jump on dad. I left out a scream of rage, agony and lose as i let my vampire take control she made me raise my hand and what happened next was astounding.

i wanted them to die i wanted their body's to rip to shreds and explode, and that my friends is what happened. Dad was in pure shock and agony as he saw his mate. Besides us Crying constantly for my mothers departure we found what was my ability. I had telekinesis. And threw the suffering we kept strong for her for her memory now here we are 2 years later still fighting.

''Emily i wouldn't starve you on purpose my child. Its for your own good'' My dad says walking up to me as i pant in the middle of our back yard, which by the way is massive don't ask where the money comes cause i have no clue.

''Dad i haven't had human food or blood for 6 days how is that good for me'' I said looking at my crazy dad he must be smoking something. ''Emmy if you were taking, you think they'll give you a bed? food? NO!. i need to make sure if it ever was to happen that you can fend for yourself while i look for you. Your less stronger but you still have strength which is amazing'' Dad said with a proud smile.

I loved that i can make him proud and was the cause of his smile. After all he was all  i had and i loved to make him happy. I knew it was hard for him to be with me after moms death, I was pretty much her clone i got her gorgeous red hair and piercing blue eyes not to mention her golden heart and love for nature.

My dad was handsome tall a muscular. He had dark brown hair with hazel eyes. As you can see i got nothing of him appearance Wise. But what i did get was his determination, stubbornness and my vampire and wisdom.

''Yeah makes sense i guess'' I said realizing this was for my benefit. Knowing i could still fight being starved made me smile i guess my strength was superior than other vampires. ''Yes it does Emmy. Remember its all about 'Control' Emma'' He said putting away all the train equipment.
