''Hey E..Emily! wanna dance?'' I smiled at Lance he wasn't as popular as everyone else. He was classed as middle, very smart to himself. He had brown short hair with hazel eyes he was handsome and if i was human i'd give him a chance.

''Sure Lance'' I said. He was sweet and people took advantage. ''Y..You know M.my name'' He said more as a surprise than a question. ''Of Course i do silly'' I laughed as we started slow dancing to Mario (how do i breath).

''Thank you Em'' I smiled at the nickname and started to sway my hips slowly, slowly he grabbed my waist and started moving slowly as if scared i'd kill him i laughed mentally. So seeing he was a little stiff i decided to talk to him while dancing.

''Thanks for what Lance?'' i asked still dancing. ''For choosing me the first to dance with, you made this my night already well besides the hate looks, still thank you'' He laughed and i followed as i saw what he meant as glares were sent his way.

''Its no problem I'm happy to dance with a good guy not a jerk''. ''You Mean the middle class nerd?'' he asked. ''No i mean Lance the handsome nice guy'' I said turning to face him keeping my rhythm, i giggled as i saw him blushing it was cute.

As the song came to a end i saw Stacy having a make out session with Anthony one of the schools nice jocks. ''Someone cant wait to leave'' Lance said laughing beside me. ''Yeah and do the dirty'' I laughed with him We've been hear for 2 hours already and i was finally having a nice time.

''So you came with anyone as a date?'' i asked. ''Who would come with me Em?''.  ''Many girls lance, you just have to ask'' i said seriously. I hated how he put himself down his aura alone was pure meaning good, and yes i can sense his.

He laughed. ''Oh Em would you be my date tonight'' He said in a teasing manner. ''I would love that'' He froze looking into my eyes. ''I..Is this a J.Joke?'' i smiled. ''No i don't have one So I can be your Date if you don't mind'' He stared in shock as his eyes sparkled with excitement. ''Great OK'' He said embracing me in a hug i returned.

''Hiya lance'' we turned to see Stacey and Anthony. ''Hi Stacey'' Lance said a little nervous, i looked at Anthony with a Treat-him-mean-ill-kill-you Literately look. He smiled at me shaking his head laughing. ''Whats up man I'm Anthony Stacey's boyfriend'' Anthony said politely ''Lance Em's Friend'' He replied shaking his hand.

We laughed and danced, even lance and Stacey danced i can tell he was having a great time and i was happy that i got to make someones prom memorable. Their was something about Lance that i couldn't grip but i knew he was good.

''If it isn't the nerd, what you doing with the prettiest girl here don't you got corners to sit at alone''  The one and only Alex said as his friends flanked him. ''Back off'' I hissed angrily everyone looked shocked except for Lance he smiled. 'weird' and Alex looked shit scared but than covered it with a smirk.

''OK come be my date and ill leave lancy boy alone'' He said cockily. ''She ain't going Nowhere with you'' Lance Said venomously. I stared shocked he looked quiet scary but i was quite proud. ''Or what? She ain't your girl buddy she never will'' Alex said as he walked closer.

Lance meet him half way and i couldn't help but feel ....'safe' wow i thought but He was Human and i didn't want him getting hurt so i reacted instead of thinking. As they challenged each other i walked near lance intertwining our fingers. He stiffened and turn to me.

''Well Ally boy, We actually are together right baby?'' I asked lance as he smile and nodded coming out of his shock. Alex looked like the devil his nostrils flared to say he was pisses was a understatement he was raging probably that he was beat by a 'nerd' in front of his friends.
