CHERYLS POV

It has been a week and a half since Kimberley's new boy toy asked her out. I don't know why but I just feel like she's too good for him. Sure he's a handsome boy but Kimba is just beyond gorgeous. But there must be something about him that Kim likes because she's on his arm often, his big arms wrapped around her little waist.

I've distanced myself from her. After school he would walk her home instead of me. She asked me "Chez, where have you been?" during lunch one day at the lunch table as she sat next to Kyle her hand on his thigh. "With someone new." My voice was harsh and I'm not sorry. I looked over to Eden and Zak. I could see Kim's shoulders tense as she leaned back in her seat with her hand scrunching up Kyle's pant leg as she squeezes his knee.

I had met Eden through Jazzy in 3rd period. Jasmine and I sat next to each other and Eden sat on my left. Jasmine started joking with her and teasing her about her big eyes. I think they are quite beautiful. They are the color of the earth, Dark green, almost brown. She is always wearing a nude pink lipstick with her hair always done beauty queen style. Her long locks of her dyed the color of sunshine and she has thick eyelashes curling and outlining her dark eyes. She's quiet yet affectionate, She reminds me of my Kimba at times but she's way funnier then Kimba. Or at least I tell myself that.

Zak is her step-brother I have 4th period with them, right before lunch. I met him of course through Eden. She kept cursing at him and flipping him off and kicking the back of his chair with the toe of her black converse during class and I would laugh at her.

"And who's this beauty with my Sis. Why don't you introduce us Eden?" He looked over his shoulder his green and hazel eye meeting mine. Earth meets chocolate. I don't know why but his words made me blush at the time.

"Shut up shit face! I'm NOT your sister for fuck sakes. And what makes you think she wants to meet a dumb ass like you huh?" She leaned up in her seat and stood up a little in her chair as she pushed the back of his head forward. He had very nice hair that was longer on the top then on the bottom and it was messily wavy as his hair was slightly pulled back, and away from his handsome face. He laughed a little and pushed Eden away.

"I'm Zak, Eden's brother. 4 months older then my little sis. And you're the prettiest girl I have met." He said smoothly and smiled showing off his white teeth. I smiled back shyly and opened my mother to speak.

"I'm your STEP-sister dammit!!" Eden shouts her words pounded into our ears, demanding to be heard.

"I'm Cheryl." I giggle at Eden and smile at Zak. His beautiful eyes sweep down my body then back up again and I think I did the same.

But that was a week ago. And now we are At lunch on a Thursday and I'm sitting in between Zak and Eden. Eden is eating her salad with a lot of tomatoes and Zak is eating a burger with too much grease. I have pasta in front of me that Zak insisted he would make for me. He told me his dad was a chef at his own five star restaurant and that one day he is going to own it so he better start practicing now.

Kim still has her hand scrunched up in Kyle's pant leg and he is sat there looking at her with a smile even though she has a slight sour look on her face. I just want to slap that smile off his face. He puts an arm around Kimberley's body and pulls her close and she relaxes a little.

I see Alex and Alina come to the table. Alex sits down at the chair on the end of the booth and begins to eat his sandwich without a word. Alina sits next to Kim. Great, just fucking great, it's my lucky day both of Kim's greatest admirers at the same place and same time.

"Hey babe." Alina says to Kim as everyone eats in silence and I can't help but think about how Kim has barely touched her food.

"Hiii my lovely!" She pulls Alina into a little hug and Alina smiles then scoots to her own side and begins to eat.
