Between us (Aomine x Reader)

Part 1 | The first time

Tomorrow is the first day at a new high school for me.

I'm trying my best not be nervous and you can say that it works.

I'm not shy but I'm not a loud person either.

All I want is just to get along with everyone, that's it.

I jumped out of my bed as soon as I heard my alarm clock ringing. The sound of this damn little clock is always pissing me off. I was getting ready for school. Oh my god, I still can't believe that it's my first day.

"Okay just try to act normal, (y/n). It'll be fine. Don't worry." I kept thinking that and it calmed me down. Well, a little bit.

When I arrived at my new school I stood there in awe. The building is really big and monstrous. It's completely different from the school I went to before.

All I have to do now is to look for the right classroom. And oh right damn it, I probably have to introduce myself later.

I kept thinking about unnecessary things as a guy bumped into me.

"Damn it, watch out!", I shouted.

Oh no. I just did that reflexively. Concentrate (y/n)! You have to be nice.

As I turned around I stared into dark blue eyes and I was paralyzed for a brief moment.

"I'm sorry, are you okay? I'm kind of in a hurry right now. I don't want to be late for class."

"Oh no I...", I stutter. Get a grip (y/n)! "I'm fine. Sorry for freaking out."

"Good then", he said and smiled.

And when he did, I could hear my heart beating louder than ever.

Who is he? I never felt attracted to someone until now.

I'm acting ridiculous. I don't even know his name and I just met him.
