Alice P.O.V.
I woke in a cage. The strange thing about it was it was rocking and swaying. And as I looked at my surroundings all I could see were treetops. And I knew I was high up in the air.
I stood up and walked to the edge. I liked that there were bars so that I could see what was happening but there wasn't much to see. I turned the other way and in the distance I saw something. 'Is that a lake?' I thought to myself. Other than that it was all forest and mountains.
It was a while later when I felt myself being lowered to the ground. Goodness I was really high up. As the treetops grew more distant, the ground came into view. There was a sudden jerk and I fell to the ground. That hurt. I got up and when I did I was looking at an intense pair of eyes. His eyes. He gave me a lopsided smile and held out his hand as he opened the cage.
