Chapter 14:First Night 🌃

MAHI and RUHAAN

Mahi stood by the window, her arms wrapped around herself, the weight of the forced marriage pressing on her. The scent of roses from the wedding still lingered, but she felt nothing- nothing but the ache of being trapped.

Behind her, Rehaan Singh Rathore watched, his dark eyes filled with an obsession he could never hide. He had loved her for as long as he could remember, but tonight, love alone wasn't enough.

She didn't want this. Not yet.
Taking a slow step toward her, he spoke, his voice softer than she expected. "Mahi, I won't force you into anything. But I need you to know..you're mine." His words weren't a threat, but a promise, edged with desperation.

Mahi turned, meeting his gaze for the first time that night. He was obsessed but not cruel. Possessive, yet careful. She expected dominance, but all she saw was quiet longing.

She swallowed hard. "I don't know if I can ever accept this."

Rehaan's jaw clenched, but he nodded. "Take your time. Hate me if you must. But I'lI wait. as long as it takes."

The room fell into silence, heavy with emotions neither of them could name.

PARINEETI and YUVRAJ

Parineeti sat stiffly on the bed, her heart heavy with betrayal. This wasn't the marriage she had dreamed of. Yuvraj Chauhan hadn't even looked at her during the wedding--proof that he didn't want this union any more than she did.

Across the room, Yuvraj leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his gaze fixed on her. She thought he was forced into this? If only she knew the truth.

Breaking the silence, she whispered, "You don't have to pretend. I know you didn't want this marriage".

Yuvraj clenched his jaw, stepping closer until he was right in front of her. "You think I had no choice?" His voice was calm, but his eyes burned with something darker.
Parineeti met his gaze, confusion flickering in her own.

"I don't do anything I don't want to," he said slowly. "And you, Parineeti..you're mine now.
Her breath hitched, and in that moment, she realized--he wasn't the one trapped. She was.

PARINEETI CALLED MAHI AND SAID-
SOO RAHI HAI KYA

MAHI REPLIED
NAHI TUJHE MASSI BANANE KI TAIYAARI KAR RAHI HOO...GADHI KAHI KI.

THEY TALKED WHOLE NIGHT AND THERE HUSBANDS WERE AMAZED .
HOW COULD THEY SPEAK SO MUCH??
