Description: It's Mika's birthday and Yuu is trying to bake a cake.

Normal P.O.V
Beep. Beep. Beep. The alarm clock continues to ring. Yu looks at the clock. It read 7:00 a.m. He groans. "I suppose I should get up now." He slammed the snooze button to stop the horrible ringing and got up from his bed. He walked over to Mika's room and knocked on his door. "Mika, are you in there?" No response. "Mika?" Still no response. He turned the knob around and opened the door. "Hm?, I guess he left already." He threw a fist in the air.
"Perfect! I guess I should get started now." He headed to the kitchen.
"Alright, let's see..." He rummaged through the cabinets. "Aha! Here's the cookbook." He opens the book trying to find a cake recipe. "Hm, there it is. Chocolate cake." He put the book down and started to look through the fridge. "Eggs, butter, milk." He dropped the items on to the table. He read the book again. "What the? These are all stuff I we don't even use. Tch, I guess I'll go buy some." He ripped the page of the book, grabbed his wallet, and headed out the door.
-time skip-
Yu came back home and dropped his grocery bags into the kitchen floor."All of this for a cake?" He sighs. He reaches into his pocket to get a wrinkled up piece of paper. "Okay, first pre-heat oven...done. Hm, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and espresso powder in a bowl." He got out a bowl and did what was told. He began to mix the ingredients. He read the next step out loud. "Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix together on medium speed until well combined." After he was done with all the mixing he put it in the oven. "Wait for 35 minutes." He sighed. "That's such a long time." His stomach grumbled. "Well, I guess I could eat now." After eating he checked on his cake. "Only 15 minutes has passed....maybe if I raise the temperature it'll cook fast."  He sat down on his couch and started to watch tv. He jerked up once he smelled something  was burning. "MY CAKE." He turned off the oven and looked at his cake. "ITS BURNT." He heard the door open.
"Yu-chan I'm ba- WHY DOES IT SMELL LIKE SOMETHING IS BURNING? YU WHERE ARE YOU?" Mika asked frantically.
"I'm in the kitchen." Yu shouted.
Mika made his way over the kitchen and saw Yu kneeing down. "Yu, what happened? Why is the kitchen such a mess?"
Suddenly Yu started to cry.
"I'm sorry...I was trying to bake a cake for you but it got burned." He said in between sobs. Mika kneeled down next to him.
"But why?"
"Y-you idiot! Did you forget your own birthday??!"
"Oh. Well we can do the cake again." Mika grabbed Yu's hand and held tightly to them. "The both of us."
"But I want to make it by myself!" Yu protested.
"It's my birthday! You have to do everything I tell you to do." He smirked. Yu blushed.
"Fine."
"Alright, well let's get started."
"Here's the recipe." Yu handed Mika the wrinkled up piece of paper.
Mika looked at the paper.
"First..."
-Time skip-
" I didn't  think that it would take that long." Mika said.
"At least were done!"
"Yea."
"Should we eat it?" Asked Yu.
"It'd be a waste not to." Mika laughed.
Yu cut a slice of cake and gave it to Mika he sat next to him.
"Are you not getting a piece?"
"Of course not. It's your birthday."
"No. You have to eat it. We baked it together so you have to." Mika insisted, he cut a slice for Yu and gave it to him.
"Okay, fine."
Mika began to eat, he then pulled out something from his mouth.
"What's wrong?"
"I just bit something hard."
"What was it?"
"A...ring?"
Yu got down on one knee and said.
"Happy birthday Mikaela Shindo!! Will you marry me?"
Mika was shocked at the sudden confession.
"O-of course."
"You must be really shocked if you're stuttering." Yu asked.
Mika got up from his seat and hugged Yu tightly.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
