Dehleez pe mere dil ki
Jo rakhe hain tune kadam
Tere naam pe meri zindagi
Likh di mere humdum
Haan seekha maine jeena jeena kaise jeena
Haan seekha maine jeena mere humdum
Na seekha kabhi jeena jeena kaise jeena
Na seekha jeena tere bina humdum

Sunlight peeped into the room, warm and bright, waking Advika from her peaceful sleep.

She stirred and slowly opened her eyes, her heart racing when she noticed the clock blinking at 9:00 AM.

Panic surged through her as she remembered her plans with Yuvaan. He asked her to get ready till 10 and here she is sleeping till now.

Advika : yeh mera alarm kyu nahi baja, hey bhagwan.

She jumped out of bed, threw on her slippers, and hurried to the cupboard.

As she opened her cupboard, clothes tumbled down, and she quickly shuffled through the hangers.

Nothing seemed right. She needed to look special for Yuvaan. A moment later, her eyes landed on a beautiful salwar suit tucked away in the corner.

It was a vibrant shade of off white, decorated with delicate golden embroidery. She smiled at the sight of it and knew it was perfect.

She got ready hurriedly not wanting to get late.

As she stood in front of the mirror, she caught a glimpse of the earrings Yuvaan had gifted her.

They were simple yet beautiful, sparkling with light as she reached for them. She blushed at the memory when he had looked into her eyes and said she was special. Sliding the earrings into her ears, she felt a wave of warmth and happiness.

She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled, after many days she wore something traditional.

Her phone rang, she smiled and picked the call.

Yuvaan : Good morning, happy birthday once again.

Advika : thank you, kaha ho tum.

Yuvaan : bass nikal hi raha hu, coming...!!!

Advika : okay.

Sejal : good morning, happy birthday baccha..!!!

She hugged her.

Advika : thank you mumma.

Sejal : looking beautiful, kahi jaa rahi ho.

Advika : haa, aa jaungi jaldi, papa kaha hai?

Sejal ; ek emergency thi toh clinic jaana pada jaldi aa jayenge, party ki taiyari bhi toh karni hai, tumne decide kar liya kya pehenogi.

Advika : ab tak nahi mumma, aa kar decide kar lungi.

Sejal : okay, aao breakfast kar lo.

Advika : no mumma abhi der ho rahi hai, I'll have something.

Sejal : okay, take care.

Yuvaan was waiting for her.

"Yuvaan...!!!!'

As he turned his face to look at her, a wave of emotions washed over him.

She was wearing a beautiful salwar suit, the bright colors making her glow even more. His breath hitched as his eyes landed on her, and he could feel his heart skip a beat.

What captivated him most were the earrings. They sparkled in the light, and he recognized them instantly. The earrings he had given her.

Seeing them on her made his heart dance with joy. Thoughts raced through his mind as he tried to process his feelings. He wanted to leap across the space between them and take her in his arms, promising never to let go.

She blushed at his gaze.

Advika : yuvaan..!!!!

He came out of his trance.

Yuvaan : hi... I mean good morning... I mean happy birthday....

He scolded himself for being so nonchalant.

Advika : kaha jaa rahe hai hum?

Yuvaan : baitho...pata chal jayega.

Advika : kahi bhi jaaye usse pehle mandir chalte hai, mumma ne kaha tha mata rani ke darshan karte hue jaana.

Yuvaan : okay let's go.

She nodded and hopped behind him.

He drove away.

Yuvaan and Advika entered the mandir at the edge of their town. The sun shone brightly above, casting a warm glow that made everything look golden.

As they reached the mandir, Advika paused to take a moment. She pulled out her dupatta, and draped it over her head. He noticed this and felt his heart warm with admiration. To him, she looked beautiful, respectful, and full of grace.

The walls were adorned with colorful paintings of gods and goddesses. The air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers and incense. They joined their hands in prayer.

Yuvaan(mind) : hey mata rani, aaj jo main karne jaa raha hu, uske liye mujhe himmat dena, aaj mere liye bohot khaas din hai, bass aaj sab thik rahe, main bina dare advika se apne dil ki baat keh saku.

After a few moments, they lifted their heads and turned to leave. As they stepped out, the afternoon sun greeted them once again, bringing with it a gentle breeze. However, the serene feeling of the mandir slowly faded as they noticed something on the staircase outside.

Several children sat there, their faces dirty and their clothes tattered. They looked at each other, and a sense of sadness filled the air. These children seemed to have nothing to eat or play with. Her expression changed. She simply could not ignore them.

she reached into her sling bag. She pulled out a few chocolates she had bought earlier, But now, seeing the children, she knew they would appreciate them more.

She took out the chocolates and carefully handed one to each child. He watched her with admiration, feeling proud to stand beside her.

Boy : shukriya didi, aap bohot acche ho.

She smiled.

Advika : koyi baat nahi, apne saare dosto ko dena.

Boy : ji didi....

Yuvaan : chale..?

She nodded.

As they were descending down, he saw her thinking something.

Yuvaan : kya soch rahi ho?

Advika : unn baccho ko dekh kar aisa lagta hai ki unke pass kuch na hote hue bhi, ek chocolate se woh itne khush ho jaate hai, aur hume itna sab milta hai phir bhi hum life se complaint karte rehte hai.

Yuvaan : it's the harsh reality of life, hume kisi chiz ki value tabhi samajh aati hai jab woh humare pass na ho.

She nodded.

Yuvaan : let's go.

Advika : ab kaha jayenge.

Yuvaan : surprise..!!!

She smiled and hopped behind him.
