A Date With Harry

It rings two times."Hey Lacey what took you so long to return my call?" "Um... I was busy and I couldn't answer. But at least I called you back after what you said at my audition." I say messing around with him."Funny." He says. "Get dressed in something somewhat dressy and meet me in the garden.""But I should unpack my things." I say."I don't take no for an answer. You have 15 minutes." He says and hangs up before I can say anything else.I go back into my room and look through my clothes. I grab my little black dress and black pumps and get changed and fix my hair and make-up. I come out of the bathroom and go into my room. "Why are you all dressed up?" Felicity asks."I have a date that gave me no choice but to go." I say and grab my phone and purse and go out into the garden. Its dark outside. I don't see anyone out here. I look around trying to see better. I stop looking when I see the silhouette of a man coming towardswo me. As he gets closer I recognize who it is. Its Harry."Hi beautiful." He says and kisses my cheek and I feel my cheeks get hot. "Hi Harry." I say. "So where are we going?" "I can't tell you its a surprise." He says. "I don't like surprises." I say."You'll like my surprises. I promise." Harry says. "We'll see." I say."Let's go. Close your eyes and no peaking." He says. We walk a few steps and I take a quick peek. "Hey I saw that." he says and moves his and from the small of my back to around my shoulders and covers my eyes. "You don't have to cover my eyes I promise I won't peek." I say. "We're here anyway." He moves his hand and I open my eyes its really dark and I can't see anything. Then I realize we're still in the garden just in the way back. "Its dark I can't-" just then the part of the garden lights up with white light that people use at Christmas. I watch as the light shows a beautiful scene there's a blanket on the ground with a picnic basket on it and two Pepsi's. The amount of light hitting all the beautiful flowers is perfect."This is amazing Harry. This is the best surprise I've ever had." I say and hug him. He hugs me back. "I'm so happy you like it." He says."I don't like it." I say pausing he looks worried. "I love it.""Good. Lets have some food shall we." "We shall." I say and we go sit down on the blanket and he hands me a a sandwich. "Thanks." I say. I try to keep my right cheek out of the light so he can't see my cut. But I feel him staring at me. I look at him keeping my face out of the light. "What?" I ask him since he's staring at me. "Nothing you're just very beautiful." He says smiling he leans in towards me and I lean in a little then his lips are on mine kissing me softly and puts his hands on the back of my neck. A rush goes through my body and there's fireworks his kissed me harder as if knowing how I'm feeling. He puts his hands on my face and try to pull back before he feels the butterfly but its too late I feel his hand brush over it. We both pull away from each other. The gently turns my face so he can see what's on my face."That looks bad Lacey. How did that happen?" Harry asks."Oh its no big deal. I went over to my friends house to tell her I got on the show and her little brother left his toy out in the hall and I tripped on it and fell and cut my face." I say not wanting to tell him about my abusive father. "Really?" He asks not believing me. "No. I don't really want to talk about it." I say and he looks at my arms and legs he sees the bruises."Please tell me what happened to you?" He says with a caring voice. I feel tears stinging my eyes. He looks me in the eyes. "Please Lacey. I want to help you." He says. "Why do you even care? No one else does!" I say and get up and start to wall away but Harry grabs my wrist and spins me to face him and hugs me tight and I let my tears fall. "I care because I'm in love with you Lacey." He says. "I'm in love with you too Harry." I say. "I'll tell you." "Okay let's sit." He says and we sit on a bench behind us and holds me close to him.
