The job should've been easy. He should've been done and out within an hour, received payment, and never met the man again. He knew something was off from the beginning though. The job was as it seemed, it was an easy take everyone out take out the target and leave job, but something was off. Cobra couldn't tell what was off but every instinct inside him told him, there was something wrong.

Even with his instincts telling him to leave and every alarm telling him he shouldn't be there, the man who hired him paid all too well, so he stayed. As he slowly and carefully stepped over twigs on the hard bare earth, slowly making his way to his destination. He was especially careful to not step into any holes, for even with his strength of body and mind, his bones are quite weak they break easily from all the testing that nearly killed him as a teenager.

You see as a child and even from birth cobra was an orphan. He knew school was important so as soon as he was old enough he tried to go, and for a few years he even did but at about sixth grade his bullies started cornering him after school with knives and anything else that they could cut him with, and they carved nasty gouges into his face and body.

The scars on his face are the entire reason he wears the mask for he knows that no one wants to see the other side of his face. After that he ran, he ran as far and as fast as he could until he reached a place and a man took him in, the man was tall and gruff as strong as a bull and he trained Cobra.

He trained him for years until Cobra defeated him over and over again, after that the man sent him to a top secret facility, they tested all kinds of things on Cobra, he is lucky to be alive, and Cobra knows it too. The horrible things they did to him at that facility, the drugs, the serums, most of it causing him immense pain nearly killing him so many times. All he knows is that he now has no purpose to that facility and all he wants to do is turn back somewhat from the path these people set him on.

That's why he takes the entirety of his job seriously, he never gives in and he's always searching for ways to help him in some way, to help him become who he used to be...to restore his body at least somewhat to what it used to be. His true drive is to take down all of the men who made him into the person he is know...he hates them with a blazing passion, but he can't do anything until he learns there whereabouts, and he needs the equipment to do it also.

So until he gets those he kills people for others, he doesn't like doing so but the people who hire him pay all to well and he gets out nearly immediately after the job is over. As he reaches a few small bushes near a tree a voice appears in his head.

"Cobra Intel on the building.. ", the female voice trails off waiting for a response. Cobra mutters softly," Shoot Jade". Jade smiles, "I've found two snipers on the roof, multiple infantry units near your position and there seems to be even more infantry inside along with three auto-functioning turrets.", she says matter of a factly.
"Ah thank you love," he says somewhat sarcastically.

To be honest Jade is beautiful and supremely intelligent, she's probably the reason he pulls off most of his jobs..of course he would never tell her that at least not exactly. He would tell her she had done great but he would always brag about how it was all him, even though she was the main reason he hadn't died at this point. She would scoff at him and laugh lightly then punch his shoulder, he loved her little laugh it was so cute. He shook his head. Get ahold of yourself Cobra you need to complete the mission not think about this lovey dovey stuff, love can come later you imbecile.

He smiles and looks around pulling out two kunai knives from an inner pocket of his jacket. These are for those snipers Jade was talking about. He turns around from the side of the tree and looks up toward the tip top of the building, finding the gunmen he readied the kunai, dipping them in a special toxin he kept just for times like these. Oh I just do love my poison, it comes very much in handy for missions like these, all I need is a scratch and the men die in minutes.

"Hey Jade?", he says softly into the ear mic. "Yes love?", she replies sarcastically. He laughs lightly,"could I get a wish of good luck, love?". She giggles softly,"good luck Cobra, even though I already know you're going to finish the mission". He can feel the words "I love you" choking him a little. He longs to say it, he wanted to so much but he knew he couldn't, not now it isn't right... He sighs and leans on the tree. Time to get on with it Cobra, no more twiddling your thumbs you must go.

He hears a twig snap to his left and crouches down quietly. Setting the kunai into his left hand and slipping a small poison tipped needle into his right, readying to throw it into the neck of an enemy. As he spots the woman clad in jet black military armor and operant clothing. Great the neck, left open just like always that's my target. He readies the needle in his right hand. Quickly and silently he throws the needle, it hammering into the jugular, she clutched at her neck but it was too late. She fell to the ground and was dead when she hit, the blood pumping out of the small hole and the poison racing to every part of her body. She never made a sound, as usual, they always died before they could, he sighs and looks away. I really do not like killing people, especially women, it makes me feel horrible but it must be this for I have no other training.

Once again he stands readying a kunai in his right hand. Now is for a great trick of Cobra's. He closes his eyes tightly and calls on a new ability he got thanks to the testing, his "Spike" as he calls it. Now what this ability does is pump enormous amounts of adrenaline to certain parts of his body, like his eyes to increase how far he can see and the clearness of that sight, or to his arms and legs to increase his strength, making him nearly a super human.

But for this turn he's going to use it on his eyes to pinpoint those snipers. He opens his eyes and looks back up picking out every detail of the snipers perfectly. Their armor isn't as thick as the infantry, so these kunai will work. Come to think of it the guns they're using are small, barely able to be called a sniper rifle it seems. What is going on with this job? He stares at the gunmen for a moment before throwing the kunai and sticking both of the men directly into the chest, right into the heart. Before the heart stops on both men it pours the toxin to every part of their bodies, their insides will soon turn to mush, but seeing as how the men are already dead, essentially, the toxin was useless.
