"He's Persistent"

"You got another one" you hear from your spot by the nurses station. You look up and see a fellow nurse holding another CD in her hands, a smile on her face as she passes it to you. "Your refusal to go out with me only makes me want you more ;) – Niall" the note reads and you roll your eyes before storming off to toss it in your locker, as you've done with all the rest. "You know, you're meant to listen to those" Niall says from his spot leaning against the wall outside the locker room. "And by telling you I was out of your league was meant to inform you to leave me alone" you snarl, pushing the door open and storming inside as Niall follows closely behind. "You can't be in here" you gasp but he just smirks. "Marry me" he says watching as your mouth drops before you shut it tightly. "Why would I do a stupid thing like that?" you demand, wrenching your locker door open and angrily toss the CD case inside. "We're going to end up married anyway, might as well skip ahead to the best part" he grins confidently and that only serves to infuriate you. "No, contrary to popular belief I'm not a fan of riding behind some bad boy on his Harley" you snap and storm from the room. "Well, bad boys on Harleys are all the rage these days" he answers and you narrow your gaze at him. "Oh really now... I don't even know what you do for a living" you scoff, crossing your arms over your scrubs and Niall shrugs. "I own a tattoo shop" he says and you roll your eyes. "Of course you do" you tell him, gesturing to the ink on his arms and neck and he smirks. "I tattoo a lot of famous people... Adam Levine, Johnny Depp, musicians, actors" he says, walking behind you as you head back to work. "That's... actually, impressive," you say, turning to stare at him with wide eyes because you had expected him to be a homeless person or on state's assistance. "Marry me" he questions again with a wide smirk and your surprise at what he does quickly fades before you slap him. "Leave me alone," you challenge, storming off to continue your shift at the hospital and Niall just chuckles.
