"Elise! Elise!" I heard someone call down stairs, Elise's eyes widen "My father is home, you must leave he will get angry, if he finds you here..." "say no more", l say quickly hoping up "merci Elise, l do appreciate what you have done, for me" "How will you leave though?" she said looking around anxiously, I smiled pointing to the window, it's not the first time today... thanks Arno l thought. "Oh right then" she said, "Um before you leave, would you come back again? I mean you don't have to, l mean why am l even asking..." "Elise, l said holding onto the frame, it's fine, l will come visit again, you are a good friend" She beamed at me, "l look forward to it Nicolette" "Till then l said" and climbed down the window ready to run back home to my family.

It was very dark now, when the night fell on Versailles it was eerie few people lined the streets and huddled together to keep warm.  Trying to be as quiet as possible l run through the streets of Versailles. I take back alleys instead of the main streets because l know the extremists and the police how been known to monitor the area when dusk hits. Carefully l make my way in and out climbing over walls, gates and what not. So many things are running through my mind, causing me to zone in and out, today was very interesting and extremely scary. Still l cannot shake the feeling that someone was watching us today. And l couldn't believe l openly spoke about my father. Today has been draining, all l want to do is see the guys. That's all l care about, and the money of course, we didn't risk our lives for nothing. Finally l make my way back to our little hideout. It wasn't much, and only had two rooms but it our home. I climb all the way to the top and use the little door, l open the hatch and begin to climb down.

Waiting for me, l am greeted by three piercing eyes and crossed arms, if looks could kill. "Hello my brothers" I say and gesture my arms towards them. After a few seconds until they caved in l was embraced by a massive hug. "Alright alright, l can't breathe" l said squirming out of their hold. I step back from them "Well, tells us were on earth have you been?" Arno said. I clasp my hands together, "Well as soon as we split up, l ran into trouble. I knocked into someone, someone important" I said emphasising the word important. "Did they hurt you?" Marcel said his eyes widen. "I'm fine" I said waving my hands. "Actually she saved me, she offered me help" l said glancing down to my now clean knees. "The guards were coming, l could hear them so l took my chances and went with her and her brother, who by the way is a pri-" "So your telling me, nobles saved your life, your pathetic life?" Andre laughed but he still arms crossed, "Couldn't be any more truthful" I said laughing too.  "Do you know their names?" Arno said, "The girl's name was Elise and she was very kind to me and her annoying brother who wanted me dead was named Lucas". "Wells that's over, may l see the objects l risked my life for day?" I said trying to get a look around the boys. "Hold on, l have another question" Arno said. "Ugh Arno, l'm fine honestly, nothing happening. They were just two high borns out on an adventure from their palace, okay?" I said. Arno narrowed his eyes "Will you go there again?" I looked away, "No" I said sternly. Of course it was a lie, I made a promise. I don't break them and I do owe Elise, she did save my life obviously. "Don't lie, Nic I know you" He said, "Don't go back there, you're lucky your even alive. Next time you won't be so lucky in the rich district." I look at him, his eyes reflect fear and l know he's just looking out for me but l can take care of myself. "Okay, l won't, l'm sorry" I lie. Arno nods, l know he knows l'm lying.

"Alright, come see Nic" Marcel said dragging me away. Marcel was my life saver. 3 large bags of money sat on the table, I dip my hand in and let the money fall between my fingers. Arno and Andre join me, "We did good? Marcel asked a  grin parts his lips, "We did great, although l said l won't forgot that Arno made me jump out of a window into a freaken hay bale!" l said shooting a glare at Arno.. "Aw was the little girl scared?" Arno teased, "Come here and l'll show" I said smirking. "We did well today even though this was our most riskiest one yet" Marcel said.  Tomorrow we will visit Laurent, and distribute the money". I felt very relieved, this money was going back to the poor and our friend Laurent was going to distribute to the families and the ill. "Anyway it's late" Marcel said with a yawn, "Who's turn is it to watch?" "Mine" Andre said, "Would you like some company?" l said. "No, you need rest, you have had a fun filled day after all" Andre said. I breath out "Alright, l'm going night Andre", "good night Nic" he said, l began to make my way up the stairs, followed by Arno and Marcel.
