Trap.

Chapter 5

*Chloe's Pov*
"I'm home!" I screamed while walking inside my house."Good timing , I just finished cooking." I saw my mom preparing the table and went to her. "Where's dad? " I asked. "He called and told me that he won't be home for dinner because he has a meeting with a very important client." She explained looking tired so I didn't ask anymore questions . I dropped my bag and sat on my chair to eat. We just ate dinner without saying a word. "So.. How's your first day?" My mom asked breaking the silence. "It's tiring and I met new friends and by the way mom Mrs. Smith wants to say hi and she really miss you "I answered. "Good that you already met new friends. Tell Anne (Mrs.Smith) her I miss her too." She replied with a nod and stood up to put her plate in the sink. After eating I volunteered to wash the dishes since I can see that my mom is really tired that her eyebags is already bigger than her eyes. She smiled and kissed me in the forehand then went to her room to have some rest.

After washing the dishes I quickly went to my room to get change and have some sleep since it had been a long and exhausting day. As I am about to close my eyes I heard a loud creaking sound. I turned my head and saw a shadow near my door. I stood up and opened the light to see if it was mom but to my suprise no one was there. When I am about to close the lights I saw something shiny under my bed, I crawled underneath and was suprised to find a key! I examined the key and found something carved at the back, it was written in a different language actually that I cannot understand so I just placed it inside my pocket . As I was about to get up I felt something trying to hold me down and after a while I felt dizzy and fell a sleep.
The next Morning I found out that I didn't turn the lights off and I was lying on the floor . I was so dizzy so I rush quickly to the bathroom before continuing my thoughts . When I reached the bathroom I scanned myself first in the mirror ....  When I saw a big bruise right at the middle of my forehead! I can't remember how I got it when I felt something inside of my pocket, it was the key I saw last night , then suddenly everything that happened last night came back to me. I ran downstairs and saw my mom preparing breakfast with my dad so I asked both of them if they we're at my room last night. "No sweetie I had headache last night and can't stand up." My mom replied." Me neither , I got home by 11 and fell asleep at the couch." My dad said with a confused face. "Why Chloe? Is there something wrong?" He added. It's nothing" I answered quickly while grabbing my towel and headed to the bathroom.

"I have to tell you something Mandy" I nervously told my bestfriend still thinking about that key on the way to school. " "Wull Wet ish it?" She replied which is hard for me to understand since she is chewing on her sandwhich. " I better tell it to you, Mika, and Vickie at the same time " I answered , but deep inside my head I was really nervous and felt my heart is beating too loud and I was having goose bumps already,I can't wait to tell my friends about it...
