My Bestfriend Or Boyfriend?

Chapter 1: How It All Began

  This is the story of me and my best friend Erick. If you didn't know, my name is Samantha. People call me Sam for short. Well, as you can see. I've been having trouble getting out of the friend zone with my best friend. It's complicated, but before I get into details of what happens right now. I better take you back to the beginning. It all started in Kindergarden.

  I was drawing alone on a table with a couple of crayons. When he walked over and joined me. That day, we both took the blame on drawing on the table and we became best friends. That same night we went back to my- wait. You don't want to hear anything from that far back? That's a shame, it was getting good! We fought over a donut but shared it anyway! Anyway, I'm under your command currently so. Let's speed into five weeks ago shall we?

**********  5 WEEKS EARLIER   *************

  I was on his shoulders as we ran through the student parking lot. People judged but, we sure as hell didn't care! We laughed until we cried and couldn't wait till school was over so we could sit in the basement all summer and play xBox. Just so you know! This was when I had no idea I had feelings for my Bestfriend! Now, back to the story!

"So, see you second period?" He laughed as I pulled my books out of his backpack.

"Second period." I nodded as we fist bumped.

I started walking through the hallway, I could feel a whole bunch of eyes on me. Watching my every move. Someone was dying to see me mess up and fall so they could take pictures and post it on the Internet, but not today! Today is a good day! Only one week left until the end of school! That means sleepovers, Xbox playing, and junk food eating all summer with my Bestfriend! Can't wait!

"So. When are you going to ask your 'Bestfriend' out hm?" A girl I absolutely hated said to me.

"Just friends. Also, shouldn't you go run to your boyfriend or something? I'm sure you hate being away from him for *gasp* 5 seconds!" I snickered.

She glared at me, "You better hope, days go fast. Though wait, my fist is coming faster!" She said throwing a punch and I grabbed her fist right on time.

I started to twist. She started to kneel, then she started to cry. Then her hand was purple and bent in the way it shouldn't have been bent. Serves her right, never mess with Samantha. Samantha bites, and she bites hard.

"Yo! That was amazing!" Erick said giving me a high five.

"Oh..incoming.." I said scratching my head and looking down as the principle walked by.

Not one glance, not one word. "I thought she was going to come here? Not just walk past." I stared confusedly.

"Looks like you have her on your good side!" Erick cheered.

"Look away!" He added.

"Wait wha-" I was cut off to my Bestfriend shoving my head away from a location.

"Your crush, dead ahead." He said whistling like nothing was happening.

I then noticed in the corner of my eye him walking away. "Phew. Thanks!" I said.

"Anyway, gotta gets to class. See you second period." I added and walked away.

By the way! My 'crush' is a guy called James Leon. He is super hot and doesn't...notice. A girl like me... *sighs* Oh well. I'm used to it. Now, back to the story..
