**Chapter 4**

"So John would officially be your bodyguard from tomorrow morning."grandpa said giving me a kiss on my forehead."You'll be safe with him,trust me."

I smiled."Thank you grandpa."

I actually believed what he said, in fact I felt safe with John around,could it be because he saved me or was there something else?

"Go get some sleep."he said raising up from my bed and closing the door behind him.

My phone vibrated on the bed and I picked it up to reveal a message from a number I hadn't seen before.

Hey this is John.Store this number and call whenever you need me.

My heart skipped a beat immediately -John just messaged me!

What should I reply?

Me:Thanks for agreeing to be my bodyguard.

I placed my phone on the bed and waited anxiously for a reply.

John:NP.

That was it.Just a no problem?

I sighed flipping over my covers and tucking myself into bed.

It was quited obvious I had a crush on the guy but who could blame me when he saved me in such a heroic manner...not to mention the good looks.

It was also quite evident that he had no interest whatsoever in me.

I sighed,maybe he already had a girlfriend, I didn't like that thought.

Closing my eyes I smiled to myself thinking that I would get to see him in the morning.

"Wow you're up early this morning."my mom commented as I made my way into the kitchen.

I smiled."Good morning mom."

She leaned over to give me a kiss on my cheeks"Good morning Rosella."

I took a bite out of the pancakes in front of me.

"So John is already outside in his car waiting for you."

I stopped chewing and swallowed quickly."He is already here?"
