Chapter Eighteen

ALLISONS POV//

I really liked Matthew and  all the things that the fans said really hurt me. Everyone says that you should have expected that when you got into the relationship, but it still hurts me every single time. I decided the only person I could talk to this about as Andria. A lot of girls have a crush on Hayes and she gets a lot of hate too. We arrived back at andria's house after we left the mall. Andria looked really pissed off.

"Andria?" I ask as we head up to her room.

"Yes ma'am?" she replies.

"So i really like Matthew more than any other boyfriend I have ever had" 

"Yeah because the rest of them sucked" she interrupted.

She was right though, my other two boyfriends that I had treated me really bad. The first one, we lasted around like two weeks and then I broke up with him because he was cheating on me. It wasn't as bad because it wasn't like we had been dating for a long time. I didn't fall for him as much as I did for Matthew. The second one, his name was Justin. We lasted for a good solid to years. We did everything together and I honestly thought he was the one. But, then after we hit the two year mark he started acting different around me, he called me all these mean names and it eventually got psychical. I broke up with him because I didn't know what his next move was going to be. He had changed from the first time we started going out. 

"Yeah I know.. Anyways I just can't stand all the hate that I've been getting because of it. I want to be together, but everyone else in the world doesn't and its so unfair. I wish people would just accept us. What do you think I should do?" I ask kind of nervous for her response.

"Alli I know exactly what you mean. Ever since I started dating Hayes all of this hate has been towards me too. I don't like it either. The first time Hayes posted the tweet about us being official everyone went on my Twitter calling me ugly, fat, and stuff like that. I started crying and Hayes told me 'don't you ever worry about what they say about you because at the end of the day, you're the one who beats them all'. I didn't believe what he said cause you know all of his millions of fans could be way prettier than me, but the fact that he said that is what made it matter. I thought about breaking up with Hayes because I figured I was tying him down. Just imagine how bad it would be without having Matthew.  Everything would be way worse" she said looking at me straight in the eye.

"Yeah, I just don't know what its going to be like and what he'll be doing when I'm gone in L.A. with all those girls."

Then all of a sudden, I got a text from Matthew.

Matt: Hey babe,  forgot to tell you something!!

Me: What??

Matt: I got the lead in a movie!! I wanted to tell you, but I wasn't sure what the right time was

Me: OH MY GOD THATS GREAT!! Facetime me?

Matt: yes ma'am

It was cute because since we started hanging out so much he started saying that. We facetimed for a long time and Andria face timed Hayes. Matt started talking about his movie and I was stoked! My boyfriend was going to be the main role in a big time movie. This is all he ever wanted to be was an actor and its finally coming true!! I looked at the clock and noticed it was 1 in the morning.

"I better go to bed" I said on Face Time.

"Nooooo babe stay" Matt moaned.

"I'm tired though!" I replied.

"Fine but text me when you wake up or else" Matt spoke in a devious voice.

"Or else what?" I laugh

"I'll take a plane and throw a pie at you" he said.

"Goodnight I love you" I said still laughing

"I love you more" he replied.

Then we hung up. I turned to see Andria already asleep on her bed, she was still on FaceTime with Hayes. It was cute because they were both asleep, but you could see their faces so it was like they were together. I took my phone out and took a picture, she'll thank me later. Maybe me and Matt should do that sometime. I knew the drill to get some blankets from the hallway closet and a thin cushion mattress from another closet. I laid it down on the front side of Andria's bed and went to sleep. I thought about everything from today and realized I'm happy. Genuinely happy for the first time.
