Snow's P.O.V...
How sad... locked up in that chamber... I must help him...
I looked into the glowing sphere in my hands, showing me what my butterfly saw. I pressed my lips on the cool smooth surface, closing my eyes and breathed out soft words. I opened my eyes, and pushed out some of my power. The cage soon exploded inward with a dark light, the bars were gone and so was his body.
No! I used to much power! Where is he?
I looked in the glowing sphere my eyes aching for just a glimpse of his body somewhere. I finally found him laying on top of a reef, the breath I was holding in was let out. But I realized how much my power injured him!
His gold blood flowed out from his mangled heap of a body, his eyes shown so much pain! I cringed, and pulled out some of my power to search for any one near enough to help him. It felt like forever until I found someone, and by then Gaberel's golden blood had started to make the fish grow wings! Who I found was a girl, she was standing by the water her eyes searching for fish.
I used my power to urge her to look up, and over at the rocks. She did as I told, her eyes found his body and she jumped up onto a rock shouting for someone to come. I let out a sigh of relief, but knew that it would take time to get to him his body so far from land.
When a boat finally came, she hopped aboard and pointed to where he lay. As the boat sped up, I look out my window and pray for him to be well.
I saw as the boat with the girl grew closer to Gaberel, his blood turned slowly red! Oh no, not this. This cannot be the girl who can destroy an angel could it? I let out a low shriek, and pushed out my power once again trying to keep her unknown power at bay.
His blood started to regain its golden tint, but just barely. I kept my eyes focused on the girl, seeing my dark power had pushed her light power deeper within her. My breathing was getting short, I created a shield around the girl to keep the power she had in but it did not keep it all in.
She was still turning him mortal, little by little. And that also meant she was killing him...

I stopped to rest, using my powers so many times tired me, and I let my head lay against the window pane. My thoughts on him, wondering what will happen if he was destroyed by a mortal girl.
I straightened up, holding the crystal ball to my chest and closed my eyes once again. My mind cleared, and I saw from what my butterfly saw. He was looking into the eyes of that girl, she had asked him a question causing him to laugh. Blood spurted out from his mouth, my blood curdled.
I saw that Gaberel had told her to stay, as she had tried to head for the door. She looked at him for a moment., but turned back and sat by his side and began to sing. My eyes flashed bright red, then they returned back to their blackish purple color.
No. I mustn't be jealous, it is my fault that he was cast away. I should not even be doing this, watching over him...
Gaberel soon fell asleep, the girl stood up slowly and headed out with a basket in hand. She must have left to fetch some food for him.
Gaberel lay there, still but absolutely alive. The urge to reach out and touch him pulled at my heart, but I knew it was not right to appear before him now. I sat there in my dark room, and watched as his chest rose at his every breath.
The girl soon returned, Gaberel had awoken and she was holding out the basket gesturing him to eat his full. He eyed the fruit suspiciously and his lips formed a question, my eyes never left his lips.
The girl I soon found out was names Annelise blushed as he continued to tell her something, she hid her burning cheeks behind her curtain of hair.
I felt something in my chest tightly clench, I dart my eyes around the room Gaberel lay in looking for a hint of danger that may have been hidden. Instead i saw Gaberel and the girl both very close to each other.
I knew from that moment that they had just confessed their love from the looks on their faces. I watched with despair from my butterfly's eyes as Gaberel leaned in close to Annelise.
I closed my eyes tightly, and threw my crystal ball across the room hearing it shatter into a million pieces. I did not want to see it, I did not want to see anything.
I sat on the floor, holding my head in my hands and my body shook as I knew he had fallen in love. I let the tears flow slowly, not wiping them away.
No. This is what is best for him, I was the cause of his descent and I must pay by knowing this...
