03.
"Who's your friends?" I asked Niall, my focus still on the tall green eyed one.
"This is Louis, and this is Harry." He pointed to them.
"And you are?" Louis smiled, putting his hand out. His eyes weren't exactly on mine, but on my chest instead.
"Catalina." I shook his hand.
"How bout I call you Cat." Louis laughed.
Harry rolled his eyes before following Niall and Louis inside my house. What's up with him? It would've been decent if he at least said hello.
Niall and the rest of the guys had crates of alcohol in their hands, that'll for sure be enough for everyone. I ran to my purse really quick to get the money. I gave Niall the money and thanked him again, setting up the alcohol in the kitchen.
The boys sat on the couch drinking a can of beer each, Harry staring at me intently. I stared at him back but when he noticed me staring, he rolled his eyes and looked away.
"What's with Harry?" I asked Sabrina, hoping she would know since they are the guys she talked to recently.
"Don't worry, he doesn't really like anyone much. I haven't heard him laugh once since we started hanging out. Not even at my jokes." She shook her head laughing.
"Probably because your jokes aren't funny." I joined in with laughter.
There were a few rings at the door bell indicating the party was starting.
Floods of people began to pile into my house. I decided to open the sliding glass doors that led to my back yard patio so people could swim if they wanted in the pool or just hang out outside.
The music was loud and gave off good vibes. People kept entering my house one after the other, red cups beginning to be all I could see through the crowd.
Sabrina had taken a seat between Niall and Harry, Harry moving immensely further from Sabrina, staring down at his phone, as Louis approached me.
"Niall wasn't kidding when he said a hot brunette would be hosting a great party." Louis smiled as his eyes raked my body in my short dress.
"He said that?" I asked, trying to get Louis to stop staring at me in an uncomfortable manner.
"Sure did." He licked his lips slightly.
"You look thirsty, I'll get you a drink." I smiled at him, using him licking his lips as a way to get away from him.
I poured him some sort of fruit mix I quickly made of vodka and raspberry syrup, and handed him the red cup.
"Thanks babe." He winked at me before walking away.
Thank god for that. I thought he would've stayed.
After standing in one spot for about a minute, I concluded that I looked extremely stupid, and decided on getting a drink for myself.
I poured the same mix I made for Louis into my cup and took a sip. The alcohol gave me just enough burn, but had a sweet taste to soothe it a bit.
I stood at the island in the kitchen, noticing Harry staring at me. Why does he keep doing that? Is there something on my face? Do I have a nip slip? I looked down at my dress, no nip slip. I opened the camera on my phone, nothing on my face either.
I mouthed the word 'what' to Harry and he just turned away, pretending he didn't notice me at all.
He got up and walked outside to the backyard that was slowly begging to fill up aswell. He had his beer still in hand as he stood in one place, staring off somewhere.
"Do you have a problem with me?" I asked, catching him off guard.
"Nope." He shrugged before staring away again.
"Then why do you keep staring at me." I almost yell.
"You might be hot, but you might also be annoying." He said while not even looking at me.
My cheeks went red from embarrassment. Annoying? How could I be annoying when all I did was introduce myself when he came into MY home.
"Well that seems like a personal problem." I replied in a bitchy tone.
"Might be, so why are you still here?" He remarked rudely.
"Well this is my backyard." I motioned around.
"You want me to leave that bad?" Harry smirked.
"I never said that." I shook my head.
"We-" Harry was cut off by someone's screams.
"Parent outside the house, I repeat, parent outside the house!" A guy about my age yelled.
Who's parent could be outside. I live almost in the middle of nowhere. The only neighbours I have are five miles away.
I walked inside to see everyone quietly standing still. I walked over to the front door to see a familiar figure walking closer, until the moonlight lit her face up revealing my mom.
"M-mom?" I stuttered, about to pee my pants.
"Catalina Belle Santiago." She yelled furiously. She rarely calls me by my full name.
"Mom, I'm sorry-" she cut me off.
"What the hell is this? I'm supposed to be gone for two months and you throw a party?" She shrieks angrily.
Before I could say anything else, she make her way inside, cursing at every teen here. Harry had already disappeared somewhere.
After ten minutes of yelling, my mother had managed to kick everyone out except me and Sabrina.
"What have you girls done?" My mother yelled, staring at the empty cups, glass bottles, and the full cooler of alcohol in the kitchen.
"I'm so sorry mom." I shook my head.
"And what are you wearing?!" She pointed at my riskay outfit. "Change, NOW." She growled. "And for you Sabrina, you are to leave now, I will be contacting your parents tomorrow morning."
Sabrina left my house in tears and I ran upstairs in tears. I quickly changed into my pyjamas and went back downstairs to face my mother.
"Catalina, how dare you bring rowdy teens into my home." She raised her voice as soon as I got into the kitchen.
"I just wanted to throw one party." I started down at my lap.
"One party." She said quietly, laughing to herself. "One party serving alcohol to under aged kids?" She yelled.
"I'm sorry mom, it won't happen again." I shook my head.
"You're sure as hell right it's not going to happen again." She said, her face almost red from anger.
"Why are you here anyway? I thought you had your flight." I said hoping she wouldn't chop my head off for asking.
"Flight got cancelled, I'm leaving tomorrow night instead." She spoke not looking at me.
"Again, I'm so sorry, I won't do this ever again." I shook my head frantically.
"How am I supposed to know that?" She asked, staring at me.
"I'll call u every hour if I have to." I pleaded.
"I'm not sure." She looked away.
"Please mom, you know you can trust me." The words spilled out of my mouth before I could comprehend what I said.
"Trust you? After this? No way." She shook her head.
"Well then what's going to happen then?" I asked nervously.
"You're getting a babysitter, that's what." She said before leaving the kitchen table, and storming off to her room.
