It was warm; which contrasted highly to the outside picture of the vehicle which whizzed by constantly. The glowing street lights looked as if they were to repeat it self time after time. The now melting snow, turning into a murky, brown slush.

I leaned my head against the car window and sighed.

Who knew staying at a relatives you hardly knew would be so satisfying?

The seals of the window held a strip of snow on, the frozen water still clinging to the rubbery slip. It wasn't irritating me nor did it cause me any discontent but I had the urge to rid of it.

I pressed the cushioned button beneath the window which allowed the frosted glass to be moved down. I told myself that the aim was to slide the snow off although I knew deep down that it was merely boredom.

My goal with the snow would of been achieved quicker than it was if it weren't for the driver giving me an immaculate look through the rear view mirror.

"Sir, I advise that you bring your window back up. It'd be highly unsatisfying to catch a cold away from the comfort of home." I smirked at his last few words.

The comfort of home.

Ironic really, seeing at how eager I am to be free from that household. Did they really think I enjoyed being inside the walls of the manor?

"I hear your advise loud and clear, Jong Dae. Although, I am unfortunately finding myself choosing to ignore it. If, It's okay with you?"

I watched Jong Dae cough awkwardly before tightening his tie which needed no attention to whatsoever.

"Yes, Sir. It is."

I had that authority. To tell them Yes or No. Wrong or Right. It just didn't matter. If you are here to serve me, you can only advise to what you think is best. Never tell me I had to do it.

That was unless it was orders from higher up.

I nodded to him through the mirror and went back to pushing the snow off the ledge. It brought a chill to the finger but pleasure to the brain. The words,
The colder it gets, the warmer I feel
Instantly came into mind right then.
Even though it was cold to my finger, I still didn't allow it to make me feel chilled. It only allowed myself to gain a warmth. A warmth which I received when I had made a decision for myself. Whether it be right or wrong.

The car had come to a stop but it was only for a traffic light. Even though there was no cars, junctions or people around, it still held the bright, neon, sumptuous red that I presume it would normally hold.

I then found it my intent to actually look outside my drawn window. It wasn't much. Just tall trees that towered above everything else.

Imagine, having to maintain or cut down them monsters. I'd pity anyone who even had the job of such inconvenience. Good thing, I know it won't be of my position to do so.

I heard a shuffle in the front of the car and cast my eye slightly to the right to see Jong Dae turn up the central heating for the car. It was on a nice 18; That was until he turnt it higher to a 32. He even looked at me through the mirror, watching my reaction as he turnt up the heat.

32? Was this man trying to cook me?

Heaving steadily, I pushed the button once more. This time, to bring the window up. I could've easily told him to lower the temperature or to open all the windows but even with my 'almighty-ness', I had my limits to what cold I could bare. Although, I showed it as acts of mercy upon his position.
