The Gypsy's Mirror

Chapter 2

 The next morning Clara was about to go out for a walk, but then she looked at the mirror and saw a very strange thing.. she saw a reflection of her in an older age carrying a mirror with the reflection of her in a young age...

  Clara said " what's this, what does that mean?!"

  "Clara this is us when we even grow older, we'll still be lonely and depressed." The older self replied..

  "It doesn't have to be this way Cleo, you can join us and be young live your life all over again, but this time you'll decide everything. Only you will be in control of your destiny, who's to stay and who's to go." The younger self said..

  Clara thought to herself maybe this a chance to fix the life I wasted..

  "What do you mean by joining you?"

  Both replied at the same time " the mirror can open you a portal to a new dimension where everything goes the way you desire."  "And what if I don't like it there?"

 "What do you have got to lose anyway!" The younger self replied.

 Clara agreed and put her hands on the mirror knocked twice and then felt it changing to liquid state and it started to absorb her in.

**Inside the mirror....

  Clara became young again, looking so beautiful without a single wrinkle.. She smiled and said " wow, I'm my old self again... This is so amazing."

  She kept walking in a place full of trees and roses till she reached a big house.. She came closer to ring the bell so she can understand a little about this new world, when suddenly the door opened and here was he.

  Clara's husband opened the door and filled with joy he ran towards her and hugged her saying " Oh how much I miss you.. Welcome home."

  "Are you for real, John... I can't believe this, oh I missed you too so much my love."

  "Yes this is all for real.. and come see Sophie... Our little girl is now 4 years old."

  Clara went inside the house and saw her little girl hugged her and kissed her saying "oh sweetie I'm never leaving you again."

  Everything was going great until one day she was walking in the house's garden and heard her husband beating up someone so badly... She came closer to the sound to see what's going on and she saw John beating a young woman then he shot the woman in her shoulder, then in her leg and finally another shot into her head.

  Clara screamed and ran to the house, John ran after her and grabbed her from her arm saying " Are you okay, what's wrong?" As if nothing happened.

  She was so scared, therefore she said " nothing, I thought I saw something but I was just imagining."

  John said " well honey I'm right here beside you if you need me."

  The next day she saw her daughter eating live rats... Everything about this world became frightening more and more with each day passing till she couldn't take it any longer.. She decided to escape it , she ran through the woods and she kept running and running and they kept searching for her (her older self , younger self , John and Sophie.) Whenever they came closer to finding her she would hide and keep silent till they're gone.

**In the real world...

  Clara's disappearance made people question if she's dead or alive, a year passed without any sign of her. Her wealth was disputed upon, till the government announced that there will be a public auction where everything of hers will be offered for sale..

  The day of the auction came and the wealthy people gathered to see the beautiful antiques and brag about who's going to buy more and with what price.

  Among them was an old man called Mr. Leo, when it was time for selling the magic mirror he raised the highest price and bought it.
