As the night falls, I sent him a message,
To which I wrote, "Meet you in your practice room.",
To which he replied, "Okay." Attached with a simple smiley emoticon.
I wore my usuals, plain tee, skinny jeans and sport shoes before I head out to his working place.
I could care less about doing a full make-up and to dress up prettily like any other girls do on dates, even though he is the most important person of my life whom I will meet.
Well, was it even considered a date? I wondered.
I reached the place shortly after, tidied myself up abit before I enter the tall building along with my nervous footsteps.
I stood in front of the door looking dazed, my mind occupied with thoughts I couldn't quite sure what it was about.
The door creaked opened slowly, and in a split second, I find myself pulled into an embrace by the guy I was supposed to see.
The hug was tight, warm and it was well filled with emotions which words couldn't quite describe it at all.
My eyes immediately turned into crescent shaped, my lips unknowingly followed up with a raise.
However, things didn't really go as expected, as we found tears building up in each other's eyes while we break the hug, but our hands remained firmly entangled. Everything was sudden, there was no warning, not even a sign that it would happen beforehand, the tears streamed down both our cheeks as we stared at each other for a period of time.
Can't we live in a world where time stands still? Why? Why not?
The world around us seemed to stop for awhile, until he pulled my face closer to him, before planting a chaste kiss on my forehead gently, so gentle as if I could break anytime like a fragile glass.
"I missed you, so so much." I find myself choked in my tears as I continue to gaze into his deep, brown eyes while he did the same.
Tell me what is wrong. Tell me what is love.
"Me too, love." He replied with a soft smile, wiping my tears away with his thumb while he let his to continue drenching his face.
