august 5th, 2018.
after a long time of waiting, today was finally the day i was going to marry, Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfory.
i tied on my robe and sat down in the chair i was gonna get my hair and makeup done in.
aaliyah, maleyah and a few other of my friends were my bridesmaids, i chose malik to walk me down the aisle since my dad couldn't.
i squinted my eyes as the lady doing my hair tugged on my hair, i tried holding back my tears thinking about jahseh and marrying him.
aaliyah noticed and came over to me. "aw girl, don't cry." she said as she bent down to give me a hug.
a tear slid down my cheek and i quickly wiped it away.
"i promise, everything will be okay." she said as she wiped my tear, i nodded and gave her a slight smile.
i took a deep breath as aaliyah sat back down, maleyah came in, she was wearing her dress. the bridesmaid wore gold dresses.
the makeup artist then came in to start on my makeup.

after a while, i finally was able to put my dress on.
i untied my robe and aaliyah came over to come help me get into my dress since it was hard to get into.
after some time, i finally got in the dress, i slipped on my heels and took one last look at myself in the mirror.

i looked out the window and seen everyone sitting down, after the bridesmaids were done walking out, it was now my time to walk down the aisle.
i took 3 deep breaths, and fixed my vail.
the song "Godspeed by Frank Ocean" started playing. i stood at the door before it was opened.
malik locked arms with me as he walked me down the aisle. i heard a sniffle come from malik and i looked over to see a tear falling down his cheek.
i smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder before looking back up.
jahseh stared at me. i was panicking
malik hugged me before sitting down, i stood infront of jahseh, holding his hands.
the officiant took a glance at me and him before looking down at his book.
"ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here to celebrate the love of Asia Marie Miracle and Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfory as they come together in marriage. Jahseh, please restate my words, i, Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy take you, Asia Marie Miracle to be my lawful wedded wife."

after jahseh was done, the officiant had me restate his words and it was now time for jahseh to say his vow.
"Asia Marie Miracle, from the moment i met you i knew that you would be the one who would turn my life around. your smile is the only thing that helps me keep going in life, seeing you happy will always bring me happiness no matter the situation. i never ever knew the girl who was bullied by my friends and i would be the love of my life one day, i will always regret treating you the way i did. you have gotten me through my toughest times, and everyday i tell myself you are my miracle. i am grateful that i will be able to call you my wife, and im grateful to have you in my life. i promise to love you forever, Asia." jahseh said as he folded his paper back up, with tears in his eyes.
tears started rolling down my face, me and jahseh laughed before the officiant said one last thing.
"do you jahseh, take asia be you lawful wedded wife?" he asked.
"i do" jahseh said smiling.
"do you asia, take jahseh to be your lawful wedded husband?" he questioned.
"i do." i said taking a deep breath.
"YOU MAY NOW KISS YOUR BRIDE."
