THE WORST FRIENDSHIP EVER

This is a story of the worst "friendship" ever, and it happened to me! This one is long but juicy (whoa), enjoy this roller coaster

I used to be mutuals with 3 fans on tumblr and i thought we were cool for a few months until one of them wrote a fanfic about Chris and Matt dating each other AND the "reader." Not just a love triangle, but actually 3 people dating. When the writer asked what we thought, I mentioned how I didn't really support that sort of thing but I'd read it anyway because I loved the writer.

They all blocked me within a few days and talked shit, made up lies about me and claimed I was racist, I still don't know why but I think because the mf who wrote the story was Hispanic or something. When anyone asked why I wasn't there anymore, they said shit like "They know what they did. Don't send hate though." But then they went onto my other social media accounts and sent me hate there.

All 3 of them told me I lost my mind, I was Colleen Ballinger, a dumbass, an asshole, stupid, and my personal favorite: an "insufferable twat." I could go on with the things they said but we'd be here forever. We went back and forth for a while and then they let the truth out: I was actually a burden to them the entire time we knew each other and they never really liked me in the first place. This was basically just a reason to push me out of their life for good. I gave them multiple apologies, and even posted a few on my tumblr and they literally told me they didn't read them and didn't care. I deleted my tumblr account, everything on it and the app, that day.

Later on, I also learned that some of the anonymous hate I received (over the entire time I was on tumblr, not just with that argument) was actually sent by THEM. They made me feel safe enough to vent and pour out my feelings to them about how much the hate hurt when in reality they were participating in the hate the entire time. Worst part is, they were right: the "friendship" was completely one-sided because people don't move on from people they love as quickly as those 3 did.

But the funniest part is, everyone else in the demographic that I supposedly offended either accepted the apologies or said that I didn't even do anything wrong and the 3 of them were being stupid. The mf who wrote the fanfic and started all this shit in the first place actually left tumblr not long after this happened, saying that "she realized tumblr wasn't for her" or something dumb like that. 1 down, 2 to go! This does have a happy ending tho because after I deleted everything, I was so much happier and I'm in such a better mental place than when I even started tumblr. I took the trash out and said "fuck them" and it was one of the best decisions ever. So yay I win again, the end! 😚🫶
