Hey guys, thank you so much for reading this far! I have enjoyed all your support and just wanted to tell you that honestly, I just wanted to try writing a fanfic just for fun. I loved the experience, it was so fun creating this story, but I have decided that I really can't commit to anything, so this will be the end of my Felinette fanfic. But as a thank you for sticking around, I am going to put in a little short story about Marinette and Felix.
The Graham de Vanily Family Chronicles:
Felix had faced many challenges in his life.
Board meetings with aristocrats who spoke in riddles. Fencing matches against opponents twice his size. Akuma attacks that nearly destroyed Paris.
None of that compared to the pure chaos of fatherhood.
"DADDY! DADDY! DADDY!"
Felix barely had time to brace himself before a tiny, blonde missile slammed into his legs.
Catherine clung to him, peering up with big, excited eyes. "Guess WHAT?"
Felix took a slow sip of coffee. "What, Cat?"
"I counted ALL MY TOES TODAY!"
Felix set down his coffee and crouched to her level. "And how many do you have?"
Cat stuck out her hands, concentrating. "Ummmm... I forget. But I had 'em yesterday, so it's probably the same."
Felix nodded solemnly. "That's a good assumption."
Catherine beamed, then gasped. "WAIT! I gotta show you somethin'!"
She spun around, showing off the pink superhero cape tied around her shoulders.
Felix tapped his chin. "Ah, I see. You've become a superhero overnight."
Catherine nodded furiously. "YES! I am... CAT NOIR! Defender of PANCAKES and JUSTICE!"
Felix chuckled. "Pancakes and justice? A noble cause."
At that moment, a sleepy, hoodie-clad Dante entered the kitchen.
Felix greeted him warmly. "Good morning, son."
Dante flopped into a chair. "Mornin..."
Felix smiled. "Ah. Poetic."
Catherine climbed onto Dante's back, wrapping her little arms around his neck. "BIG BROTHER! Guess what? I counted my toes!"
Dante sighed. "Still ten?"
Catherine gasped. "HOW DID YOU KNOW?!"
Felix smirked. "Your brother is a genius."
Dante mumbled, "Just trying to survive."
Marinette entered the kitchen, taking in the scene. "Let me guess. Cat has way too much energy, and Dante has none."
Felix gestured dramatically. "Balance in the universe."
Marinette leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Morning, honey."
Catherine giggled. "MOMMY, NO KISSING!"
Dante groaned. "Yeah, please, not before breakfast."
Felix chuckled. "One day, you'll appreciate romance."
Catherine wrinkled her nose. "Nuh-uh. Boys are yucky."
Dante smirked. "Finally, something we agree on."
