9 years later~
Dunbroch was still in rivalry with Berk and the chief of Berk hasn't spoken a word to the king and queen of Dunbroch about his son Hiccup, which puzzled Merida very much. Merida was fourteen years old at the time and still depressed and cried herself to sleep every night since the day when Hiccup was taken by the beast bear so called Mordu. When she was seven years old her father gave her a bow, and ever since then Merida had been practicing shooting it so that eventually she could avenge the boy.
One day Merida was out shooting her bow in the forest when she sees a piercing bright blue light flash in the distant forest. Merida could not contain her curiosity. While Merida was running towards the blue light, she started hearing a yell of a boy! Then Merida heard a roar... Suddenly a big black and winged creature flies by Merida! Woohoo! That's it bud! Merida hears a boys voice coming from the creature. Merida finally met the eyes of the boy, he was riding the creature! Alright bud calm down! Down bud.. The boy said. Merida realized that the creature the boy was riding was a dragon, a night fury! When the boy landed, Merida also saw that he had only one leg, and that he seemed very familiar. Hey.. Uh you lost? The boy asked. no I am not lost, I just was curious about your night fury... Merida said. Oh haha I am sorry.... Yeah his name is Toothless, and my name is Hiccup! I live in Berk, where do you live? Merida couldn't believe or understand it! It could not be the Hiccup that was taken by Mordu nine years ago! Oh hehe.... I was just wonderen... What happened to your leg? Oh.. The only I remember was that I was with a little... Hiccup's voice trailed off. ...las?... Merida said. Hiccup glanced up to see Merida in tears. I thought you were dead.. I thought you were eaten by that bear..... You saved me, I remember; you jumped in front of the bear when et was charging toward me... Merida sat down on a rock, while Hiccup was still staring at her in surprise and disbelief. Wait, your trying to tell me that you were the girl, and that I rescued you, and jumped in front of that thing? Oh god ohhhh goddd! What would my dad say?... Oh god! Hiccup said while walking away from Merida and towards Toothless. Hey! Where are you goin?! Merida runs behind him. Then Hiccup stops in his tracks, I am sorry Hiccup says and sits on the cold forest floor with his head in his hands. Why are you sorry, I should be apologizing for letting that beast take your we limb off. Merida sits down next to Hiccup who had seemed to have a tear in his eye. Hey what's wrong? Merida asks. I am sorry for causing all this rivalry between our lands, I..I.. told my father when I was found from after being attacked by that bear, that you were with me and that your name was Merida, and ever since then my father has been planning a surprise attack on your Kingdom because he wanted vengeance on you and your family because he thinks you and your family caused my attack... Merida stands up not believing what she had just heard, will there be another war between their two clans?...
