I read over the card at least 50 times. It read:

Styles' Inc.
Harry Styles- CEO

If you have any business needed to be taken care of please call the number below or send an email to schedule an appointment.

I rolled my eyes. I knew Harry was just trying to provoke me, just showing off how rich and successful he was.

Still... maybe this could do me some good.

Since the coffee shop was basically vacant, I decided to call the number right then and there.

I quickly dialed the the number and hit the 'call' button before I changed my mind.

"Styles' Incorporated, this is Aiden Harvey, Mr. Styles' secretary and annoyingly also his personal assistant speaking, how may I help you?" I heard a man's voice say over the phone. I tried not to giggle, because he sounded almost like a girl.

"Hello, this is Carter Jay. I know this is highly informal, and I really do apologize, but I was wondering if there are any job vacancies?" I put on my best professional voice and spoke confidently. Confidence is always a key asset to landing a job here in New York.

"Oh, honey, it's quite alright! Actually, there is a job opening here. Our most recent secretary, Victoria Roberts, has just been let go. Quite sad, actually, she was only here for a week! Anyways, would you like to schedule an appointment time to be interviewed, dear?"

I sighed in relief. This was almost too easy. "Yes, that would be amazing!"

Aiden laughed. "Well, do you have a preferred day or time?"

"Whatever's the soonest I can come in."

We both chuckled. "Ok, will Monday at 8:00am work for you? Mr. Styles doesn't have a meeting so I can put you in for that time."

"That's perfect, thank you so much."

"You're welcome, honey. Just remember, you will need to be here at least 30 minutes prior to 8:00, and you'll need a resume, professional clothing, and a nice bright smile."

I grinned at his words, even though I knew he couldn't see me. "Ok, that'll work. Thank you so much again, Aiden. I can't wait to meet you on Monday."

"You too, sweetie. Talk to you later. Have a nice day."

I replied with a 'you too' and hung up.
I sat back against my chair for a second to just think through what just happened. Then, I let out a really loud squeal. I had forgotten I was in Starbucks until a worker glared at me and shushed me. I quickly apologized, and decided to leave.

I grabbed my coffee and walked out to notice how bright the sky was, despite the cold New York air.

I felt like I was on the clouds. Even though I just got fired this day, I had yet managed to find a job interview. Usually it takes, at the least, weeks to even find an opening.

I said a silent 'thank you' to the gods above as I went back to my crappy apartment. I decided to celebrate by making eating some Martin's barbecue chips and watch reruns of X-Men Evolution because I'm a 23 year old who can do whatever the hell she wants.

Since my interview was on Monday, and it's already Friday, I decided I would go to the store and reprint my resume so I could add on my most recent job position. Then I'd go shopping- which I'd been meaning to do for a while now.

After I finished the X-men series, I looked at my iPhone to see it was 9:00pm.

"Huh." I said. "It was only 1:00 when I started watching this. I need a social life."

Me talking to myself proved that exactly.

Since I had finished the series, I decided to watch Mean Girls. But first, I went to my dresser and changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top. I pulled my long, thick, brown hair into a messy bun and prayed it wouldn't get tangled while I slept.

I got intertwined in my covers and ate another big bag of Martin's as I watched Mean Girls and cuddled with my pillow. I laughed at the part where Regina George got hit by a bus, and kept rewinding it. I was hoping I would laugh myself to sleep, but at the end when Cady got together with Aaron, it died away quickly.

This is because I just realized how lonely I am. I'm fucking 23 and don't had a boyfriend. That's partly why I get so engulfed in big working jobs, because I forget about my everything outside of work and important things like bills and stuff. But I don't even have any friends, aside from work colleagues. I hardly ever go put, and that's just sad. I'm not going to be young forever, so I need to live in the moment now. I don't really know the true meaning of having fun or actually being in love.

It's time for that to change.

Yooooo wassup tho!!!!
