((Side note, this takes place further in the future, pilot has matured a bit more. Also this was the first story I had wrote. Inspired by 'flying Bessie'))
Pilot landed his plane, once he got out he was greeted by a young boy. "Wow! I have to learn how to do that! That's the most exciting thing I've ever seen!" Proclaimed the boy. Pilot smiled kindly and replied "I'm thinking about opening a flight school, but you're a bit too young to take lessons just yet. In the mean time, you wanna go for a ride?" Pilot expected the boy to agree eagerly, but instead he looked very disappointed. "But I don't have any money..." He said dejectedly pointing to the poster advertising the fee for rides. "Well what if I take you up for free, and you pay me back when you become a famous aviator?" Pilot offered. The boys face broke into a smile "I'm gonna tell my dad where I'm going!" Pilot chuckled with a smile. "Careful. Once flying is in your blood, its impossible to get out."
