When Worlds Collide

Introduction

Princess Cordilia of the Acaric kingdom in the North Atlantic Ocean has come to proper marrying age and has gained the knowledge and confidence to become the next Queen of the kingdom her parents now reign over. When told she is to be wed to the pompous Prince Lamar, she makes it a goal to assure this wedding does not go through. To add to the stresses of the future marriage, Cordilia comes in contact with a man who stumbled upon the island inhabited by the mers. She knows better than to interact with this human in order to protect her people, but she feels a certain curiosity and attraction towards him; something she's never felt towards any other human. Now she has a difficult decision to make: Does she live the life her parents have created for her or does she follow her heart?
