Eren stood at the door, his heart racing. Y/N, with a surprised expression on her face, hesitated for a moment before closing the door in his face. He stood there, a little stunned, but soon heard hurried footsteps inside the apartment.

Y/N ran to the room, where the little girl was playing. With a quick gesture, she left her there, making sure she was safe. After making sure her daughter was okay, Y/N took a deep breath and went back to the door. When she opened it again, she saw Eren waiting.

“What are you doing here?” she asked, her voice mixed with surprise and indignation.

“I came to deliver your check,” Eren replied, trying to remain calm.

Y/N crossed her arms, an expression of discontent on her face.

“You didn’t have to come here! I could get it from Pieke!”

The tension increased as they exchanged intense looks. Eren couldn’t understand why she was so irritated.

“You lied to me!” he exclaimed. “I said that girl wasn’t mine!”

Y/N hesitated for a moment, but quickly defended herself.

“I didn’t lie! You have to understand that I did this to protect my daughter!”

Eren frowned, perplexed.

“Your daughter?” he repeated, almost in a whisper. He looked around the apartment and then remembered the girl. The way she smiled… her eyes… they were exactly like his.

“She’s just like me!” he said, with a mixture of anger and disbelief. “How could you hide this from me?”

Y/N looked away for a moment, as if she was fighting her emotions.

“I just wanted you to have a normal life, without the complications that I knew would come if you knew…”

Eren took a step forward.

“Complications? Y/N, she’s my daughter! I have the right to know!”

The discussion heated up as the unspoken truths hung in the air. Eren was furious, but at the same time his heart ached as he realized how much he had been deceived. The situation was more complicated than he had imagined.

Y/N took a deep breath and finally spoke:

“After everything your father and my father told me, I had no choice but to move on, just me and her.”

The two were silent for a moment, each lost in their conflicting thoughts and feelings.

The tension in the room increased even more, and Y/N, unable to contain her frustration, began to talk about the past.

“You don’t know what I’ve been through!” she snapped. “Your father told me I should leave, that you were already happy with another woman. He thought I was a hindrance in your life!”

Eren was silent for a moment, absorbing her words. The mention of his father brought back memories he’d rather forget.

“Do you really believe his words?” he asked, his voice full of disbelief. “My father was always controlling, Y/N! He never cared about what I wanted.”

Y/N shook her head, anger and pain mixed in her eyes.

“I know that, but when he told me you had moved on, I thought it was best for all of us. He was so sure you didn’t want to know anything about me or her anymore…”
