He pulled on the driveway, his hands shaking, but he managed to drive. His mind is full of questions.

"Who is that man? Why did he kidnap her? Do I know him? Does she know him?" His thoughts paused at the last question. " What if she knows him?"

Soon he reached the mansion and parked the car in the garage. Getting out of the car and moving towards the backseat to carry her inside the mansion.

As he entered the mansion, he moved straight to their bedroom, ignoring the concerned stares from the guards and servants in the mansion.

He gently placed her on the bed and sat beside her on the bed. Taking her hand in his, he brought her hand to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on her knuckles. A tear escaped his eye.

He sat there rubbing her palms, waiting for her to wake up. " B-butterfly... Please wake up..." His voice cracked due to the restrained emotions.

After a while, her eyes flutter open. But the shimer in her eyes that usually used to be there wasn't. Instead that there was something else, something called fear.

As soon as she came back to her senses, panick rushed through her. " K-kook... He.. he's b-back... He's back to kill me... N-no not to kill me... T-to s-sell me... Kook... S-save me... He's b-back..."

She mumbled, while tears continued rolling down her cheeks, uncomfortably. She was shaking like a leaf.

Seeing her in that situation, Jungkook's heart broke into millions of pieces. Seeing her so vulnerable, so broken.

He tried to callm her, but she was crying like a mess, mumbling certain things which he wasn't able to understand.

" Princess, please calm down... I'll protect you from anyone, just... Just please down cry like that..." He was trying his best to calm her but she was unable to stop her cryings and shakings.

" ENOUGH!" He shouted and she froze. He hugged her tight caressing her back and hair. He stayed like this for a while, letting her calm down.

As he felt that she has relaxed. He broke the hug and cupped her face gently. " Look at me butterfly..." He waited for her to look at him.

Her tear-filled eyes met his. "Princess, now tell me who was that guy? Do you know him? And no need to panick, he's not here, alright?" He stared at her eyes, his face unreadable.

She slowly nod and spoke softly. " He... He's my f-father... He's the person I used to have nightmares of... K-kook... He's back... He told me that... That, he'll sell me..." Tears rolled down her cheeks.

After listening to her words, Jungkook froze at his place, not believing his ears. Soon he came back to his senses.

" No one's gonna take you away from me. Not until I'm alive" he spoke, and hugged her again letting her cry in his arms.

" I'm gonna kill him... Slowly... Painfully..." He spoke, but this time his voice was no more softer. His voice was now darker... Darker than anything else present on this world...

After a while, he felt her breath evening out. He tilted his face to check on her and found her deep asleep while her grip on him was still unyielding. A smile cracked on his lips as his eyes landed on her pouty lips, but soon it faded out.

He gently placed her back on the bed and turned off the lights. And placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before heading towards the door.

He came down stairs in the living room and sat on the couch, while crossing his legs. He clapped twice and all the maid, guards and servants assembled immediately, while bowing down in front of him in respect.

"Listen here everyone, from now on I want each and every one of you guys here, to take special care of butterfly, I don't want a single complain from her, got that?" He asked as everyone nod in response. "Words!" He spoke in a voice much darker. "Yes boss..." Everyone spoke in unison. "Good... Now get back to your works." He again spoke and everyone returned to their respective works.

He pulled out his phone and dialled the number of soobin. As soobin picked up the call Jungkook spoke " Soobin, I need your help..."

Soobin: "my help, in which way?"

Jungkook then told the whole scene to him.

"I want you to reveal that one secret identity of yours, to help me, will you?" Jungkook spoke.

"I'll do anything for yn..."
