A New School

Up there is Daisy Katherine Winstead.

A new school is a different road in your life, takes some time to think what to say to new people and a new appearance. My names Daisy Katherine Winstead and I used to live in a small town called, Little Green. My father just got a new job here too, working as a pilot. My mother is a heart surgeon, same as my dad, she got a job here at the hospital down Black Lake Drive.

I have 1 sister and 2 older brothers. My little sis, Athena is a 11 years old. Chocolate eyes, shoulder dark, brown length hair, freckles on cheek, light tanned skin and a bright smile. She's one little snicky kid. Say something to her and she can remember it easily as nothing. Promise her something and don't do it, she'll remind you till you do what you need to do.

My 2 older brothers are Danny and Jim. Danny is 17 like Jim, but shorter by 5 inches. Has bright green eyes, short black cut hair, freckle free face and dark tanned skin. Bad boy much? Jim is our smarty. Brown pony tailed hair, darker grey eyes, but looks green a bit in the light, a few freckles around the cheeks and some nice broad shoulders. Nerdy type. Reads a lot, good graded kid and the best kid in school.

Today we had woken up at 5 o'clock in the morning to get ready. It takes time for us to get used to the new scenery every day since we got here and get dressed. I had gotten a nice long black sleeved shirt, tight dark navy jeans, black, white snickers, and a white scarf to top it off. Putting on some cream colored lip gloss, dark red eye-liner, sliver eye shadow and then peach blush.

Grabbing my Jack Skeleton case phone, I walk out my light grey room. Walking down the stairs to the kitchen to the refrigerator was my mission. There was a last bag of cinnamon rolls and it had my name written all over it, literally. Seeing no one around will make it more easy. Taking baby steps towards the refrigerator, I hear a yawn suddenly. Oh no... Snatching the cinnamon roll out the refrigerator, running to the dining room into my little dark corner, I had completed my mission. "Yo Daisy!" Danny... I peeked through the crack of the doorway to see Danny grabbing milk and cereal. His back was facing me. "Yeah?" I replied quietly. "Where you at?" Danny questioned, still not facing me from serving his cereal. I giggle. "Behind you." Danny turns around and sees me peeking out the bottom corner. He chuckles.

"Stop messing around and get up. First day of school and you don't want dust on your ass." I gasped dramatically. "How dare you speak about my ass." Trying my best to speak all hurt. Danny looks at me with a goofy grin as he finishes his cereal. By the time I threw away my plastic bag of empty cinnamon rolls, Jim comes down the stairs with his glasses on. "Morning Peeps."He yawns out. Mom and Dad come walking down afterwards with Athena behind. Now with everyone all woken up and ready, Danny grabs his skateboard and rides to school, leaving me and Jim behind walking. Athena goes on the bus while Mom and Dad drive to work. Same schedule everyday like we were in Little Green, expect not seeing our friends at the gates of school. While walking to school, me and Jim talked about what kinda homework we'll get or another dumb year. That's when we see the school.

The building of the school was really something! Bright navy blue with bright neon yellow. The kids even looked bright as well, huge smiles and rosy cheeks. Girls wore cheerleaders skirts, jocks wore their mascots jackets and regular students wearing what ever. "Daisy, where did Dan go?" Jim whispered in my ear. "I don't know."Just like him to not hang out with us. "Yo!!! Where you guys go?!" Looking every where for you two." Danny pops out behind a wall with a smirk. Even if he is my brother with his deep, smooth voice, I cans till punch him hard if he scares me like that again! But, I pinch his cheek. "OW!!! Ow pain!" He whines as he struggles out of my grasp.

Me and Jim sigh. "You were the one who left us." Jim points out to Danny. As in getting hit by a car, it hits him. "Totally forgot about that." Rubbing behind his neck nervously. That was when he looks at me strange, like he was in a trance. Jim waves a hand in front of his face quickly. "Earth to Danny." We both say in unison. Danny shakes his head and blushes. "My bad... Day dreaming..." Jim sighs again and chuckles after. The bell rings and we all walk in while students look at us. It makes me feel un-secure. Noticing my uneasiness, Danny wraps a arm around me. "Hey it's OK Daisy." He reassures me. Though with my brothers with me, I still feel bad... In class already, I sit down in a empty seat next to a cute looking boy. Nice chin and shoulders, blonde short, curly hair and light purple eyes. The teen looks my way and flashes me a smile, I quickly twist my head to the right and see Danny staring at me again. 'What's with him lately?' I thought to myself.

After class, I walk to my locker that I got and put in my combination. And apparently, mine was between two jocks. Great... They both look at me and smile. "Hey new girl!" So much for trying to get ignored. I looked over at them. "Yes?" I questioned nervously. One jock had red hair and another had blue hair. "I'm Sonic and this is Knuckles." He points to the red haired jock. Sonic seemed to be a cheerful fella while Knuckles looks kinda like one of those hot heads. Not to be mean or anything. The bell rings again signaling for us to go to class again, then after another class till lunch then free time. Walking to class, Danny and I find ourselves together. We decided to sit together. "When will this end?" I questioned loudly. "Never..." Danny mumbles out irritated at the fact this was beginning to last forever today for a Monday. Super great...

After classes, I decided that I would eat with my brothers for the time being. Jim and Danny grab their trays and pick their food, which wasn't much. Expect for our delicious pepperoni pizza. Our favorite.
